Update: I am thoroughly impressed with the CRC property team after I left my initial response. They left a comment for me to reach out, which I did. I worked with the CRC head of the QH property to go through my situation. He was very considerate and said he would look into the matter (and he did). We were able to come up with an amicable solution in the end.

You don't expect that sort of empathy and caring from property management, and I'm very grateful to CRC for it. Again, QH is a great property and great value for its location. Sometimes it takes reaching out in order to be heard, but I felt heard. -Ben ---- Initial review: I've never written a bad review before but the way my three-year stay at a CRC property is ending really left a bad taste in my mouth.

I was in a studio for about two years (Quebec House). I actually enjoyed the location, space, cost, and the property staff were pleasant. But the pandemic made living in a studio a bit of challenge. On top of that, my studio had a roach infestation (it got really bad and the treatments the apartment provided did not seem to do the trick). So I was pretty desperate to change spots and upgraded to a one-bedroom.

My month-to-month lease, however, changed to a year-long lease. I didn't think much of it at the time. My new one-bedroom was very nice as well, but with the pandemic and interest rates rising, I wanted to buy a house sooner rather than later. However, since I was buying before the one-year mark of my new lease, I was technically breaking my lease, even though I've been a long-term resident.

It required two-months notice + a breaking fee equal to two months. So three months extra pay. I asked given my circumstances if there was anything that could be worked out. Quebec House staff were courteous. But CRC people flat out said no. I understand that's well within their rights, but given my situation, it's just irksome and demoralizing. You'd think they'd be interested in working with a tenant who has always paid on time and been in good standing would be in their interest. But I guess not.

Notice how they don't tell you who owns or manages this company? The reason is they don't respond. Don't rent anything from this crowd. They take your money then cut back services with no customer service. This place needs to be investigated.

Months ago, I had contacted this company through email asking to set an appointment to visit one of their apartments, with no response. Months later, I called the company to view this same apartment complex and was told that there was an apartment available to view and that someone would do a walk-through with me the next day. I arrive to the apartment complex on time-and no one is there.

So I call the company and they tell me that not only is no one going to come, but that the apartment complex has already been leased earlier that day (I received no call of this and my appointment was in the evening), after I took off of work and drove an hour and a half to see it. I am just amazed at the unprofessionalism. No one on the phone offered an alternative or gave suggestions of other apartments that were available. I just got a "this is a misunderstanding".
