O Stars.the WORST Company I have ever dealt with. My daughter is a student and has had SOOOOOOOOO many problems with their property and lack of response to critical issues. They were without power to over half the house for over 2 weeks with no help what so ever. No hot water, no dryer, they lost all their groceries due to no power in kitchen, no power in 2 bedrooms. I had to look the owners up individually to get a hold of someone. Lisa was extremely unprofessional and I will be reporting to TREC. Can't wait for move out!

Avoid at all costs. First red flag is that they do not even answer their phone, they simply have a voicebox set up so they can pile up the complaints they will ignore. I got denied on my application with a profile so solid it did not make sense. Hell, in the tour that I had to fight tooth and nail to get of the unit there were baby roaches. Their "$50 application fee" is due twice if you have a guarantor, so after wasting $100 on the applications I was denied with no indication as to why, and notified not even from Lee Properties but from a different agent. Absolutely dishonest company. If you're reading reviews to contemplate potentially applying for a lease, turn away now.

This company is about as bad as you can get. DO NOT do business with them. The people in this company are very unprofessional and rude especially, Lisa Alexander. She tried to blame us for a water damage that happened due to the wear and tear on the old house. We had holes in our ceilings for weeks as well as ripped up carpet upstairs and huge fans that were left. Lisa continued to try to pin water damage on us until other extreme measures were taken. Additionally she was embarrassingly rude to us as college students and to our parents.
Not to mention the texts she would send us were almost unreadable due to misspellings and awkward grammar making it appear that she was obviously incoherent. DO NOT waste your time with this company.

Lee Properties is by far one of the worst companies I have ever had to deal with. A company led by 15 year olds would have done better than this company. We had major issues when moving into our unit. Between appliances already not functioning on move-in, a massive roach infestation, and a poorly cleaned/painted unit, Lee Properties has clearly shown they cannot take care of their units that they manage, much less their own company.
We reached out multiple times to try and get in touch with them about issues we had, both before we moved in and after and they NEVER got back to us. We literally had to reach out to a third party manager, who works with Lee Properties, and ask them to contact Lee and tell them to get back to us. The company's employees also never actually seem to talk with each other.
We were told we needed to pay Lee for a wastewater/street cleaning fee that we were already paying through our own utilities. When we reached out to them (and finally got an answer after a few weeks), they told us that it seemed to be a mistake on their end and that they would handle it. Fast forward two months and they reach out telling us we need to pay the fee.
Also the employees working at Lee are just flat out rude. They claim to have customer service but there is no such thing. Honestly, I could write a novel of all the garbage I had to deal with going through Lee Properties within only two months of having rented from them. They recently sold the unit that we live in to another property manager two months after we got here which thank God because now we don't need to deal with them ever again. TLDR: Do not rent from Lee Properties.
They will never get back to you no matter how many times you call, text, or email them. This "company" should be shut down since they cant even do the basic task of what they are paid to do.

Hands down one of the worst, do not ignore all of the bad reviews. Can not tell you how many appliances in my house broke and would take weeks of filing maintenance requests and calling to actually get someone to come out and fix something. Between broken disposals, no running water, ac leaks, mail box filling with water, roach problems. literally you name it the unit will have the problem and zero sense of urgency fixing it. Got the unit professionally cleaned during move out and attached a receipt.
They still charged me an $80 "cleaning fee" and then $100 for a "dirty air filter". didn't know one air filter costed $100. Have reached out to them probably 7 times to get some clarity on the charges and they have ignored every email, text and call. I can not stress enough to not use this company.

Very incompetent. Besides the roaches and the homeless who kept breaking into the complex, when I was trying to move out, I filled out the vacate notice in their portal. They didn't provide any email confirmation and then all proof of my vacate notice disappeared. Then, they wouldn't get back to me for weeks, despite me calling many times a day, leaving voicemails, and sending emails.
They only responded once they could claim I didn't send it on time so they could charge an extra month of rent. After pushing back, they relented. They also tried charging me a bogus cleaning fee to take my entire security deposit (I left the apartment cleaner than it was found), but conveniently dropped it the moment I said I kept my cleaners' receipts. The staff seems like a bunch of family members who collectively do nothing and just wait for the rent money to come in.

Worst company i have ever had to rent a property from. we were consistently connected with different employees that had no idea what their coworkers had already talked to us about. Ex. 1 requests pictures and videos of the property, sent videos, 2 weeks later a different employee asks for the same thing and doesnt know where the other videos are. after finally moving out we get our security deposit back which has $170 deducted for carpet clean. we asked for their recommendation for a carpet cleaning company (which they didnt supply) and then we told them we were getting them professionally cleaned and emailed them the receipt. deposit also had another $450 deducted for "clean". the last deduction was for "air filters" which is insane because we left 2 EXTRA filters for the next renters to use AT THE INSTRUCTION of Lee properties. Actually insane how poorly my rental was managed.

I wouldn't mind too many of the old reviews. It seems to me like some parts of management have changed based on my conversations with the office before I moved in. Specifically when I inquired about the reviews I was told they have a new manager of maintenance and I believe that is true as every time I had an issue it was fixed within no more than 3 days.
Any emergency problems I had were fixed in at most 2 hours but I always consider the travel time and potential other jobs the maintenance worker might be doing. Anyways the staff at the office had always been friendly, I have always been informed if someone was coming to inspect my apartment and they have always been professional in their communication. For me I wish their star rating would be higher as they definitely deserve it.

Honestly just a horrific experience start to finish. When I first moved in they gave us mailbox keys that didn't work then rudely informed us it's USPS responsibility to give us new keys not Lee Properties. Our apartment was "newly renovated" with the sink drain not secured in, my door knob was on backwards so you could push open my door, my bathroom rod wasn't even secured to the wall, and I could go on.
Maintenance was a nice guy but he didn't know how to do his job right the first time, ever. Fast forward a year of living there. I'm 7 1/2 months pregnant and my roommates boyfriend, who I informed the company should not live there, moves in and starts harassing me. I showed proof of harassment and texts stating my roommates acknowledgement of the harassment and him living there and that I was scared for and myself and my baby's safety, the company refused to release me from the lease.
I find multiple replacements and my old roommate was being stubborn on allowing anyone else to move in. after i would negotiate with one supervisor another would contradict the previous and we're incredibly rude to me throughout the process. During our entire lease we constantly allowed people to view our apartment come take pictures and payed rent on time. I do not recommend leasingg with this company.

DON'T EVER THINK OF LEASING WITH THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY. Living at a Lee Properties house has honestly been a horrible experience. The office staff have been at best condescending and opaque with the reasoning behind certain maintenance fees and at worst in a screaming match with my roommate claiming that their job is hard and explaining that an executive decision had been made by their director, whose job it is to direct.
We were told our house was ready to move into by the appropriate date. When we moved in the air conditioner was broken, the microwave was broken, and the fridge broke within three weeks. Placing those maintenance requests was also a fight. When we told them that our air conditioner was broken (it was 110 degrees in the house in late July), the office staff asked us if we knew how the auto function on the air conditioner works.
We have paid over 600 dollars in plumbing fees due to backed up pipes that were from before our time. There are roaches in the house (but we don't want to pay the inevitable hundreds of dollars that the leasing company will charge us to get rid of them). Every maintenance issue (of which there are many) end up falling on the tenant after a screaming match to get someone out here to fix it.
In one instance we were told explicitly we would be charged ONLY if the plumbers had to return. Without returning to our home, we were charged an 80 dollar fee. This company takes advantage of young people and students and working with them to keep our house in working condition has been horrible.
