Don't move here unless you don't mind the property managers who don't have any boundaries, basic communication skills, and are relentless money hungry scammers. Extremely unprofessional and unethical business. You can even tell with how they respond back to reviews. It's like fighting with a petty child.

Casie North is a slum lord. She took advantage of the fact that I have a high barrier background and used that to threaten me to not resigning me lease if I called in any maintenance requests, I have the email. I am also now moved, thank God, but when I asked her what I would need to do to break a lease that I signed 3 months early bc I did not trust her sudden mood swings, and was afraid I would be homeless with my daughter, she sent me an email stating give me 30days notice, months full rent and a reletting fee of 807.

I was shocked it was that easy. Which I probably should have known better bc Casie North is a money hungry snake in the grass. I then started looking at places out of state nears my family. I found a place gave her the 30days notice and boy did she text me at an unprofessional hour the same day stating all the somethings but of course added on that I would also be paying rent until the unit was leased out.

I dont know who she thinks she is but what she emailed me was a contract, and I went by said contract. I will not be giving her another cent of my money. Of course she said if I cleaned out the apartment and while cleaning the apartment out she messaged me asking when I was leaving bc she had someone leasing the unit. She plays these stupid mind games and thinks shes slick.

So now after I cleaned everything I'm not getting my deposit back and she is still trying to get rent for the unit until its rented out. She has gotten 2200 dollars this month! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. These people should be sued honestly. But please stay away from this company and especially the property manager Casie North. The worst experience of my life.

Oh my apartment flooded I had to spend a week in a hotel room and she wouldn't prorate my rent or pay for the room. And I am pretty sure there is mold like in the walls bc all they did was put fans in the units. They will not get anymore money from and hopes not from anyone else. This place is horrible.

DO NOT BELIEVE THE GOOD REVIEWS, they are most likely bots, honestly. You know how these companies massage their "customer reviews." I should have paid more attention to the other negative comments on here before deciding to take a chance on this living situation. The landlord is actually pretty ok, no complaints yet, but OMG the middleman property service?

I can't believe some of the things they've done. For one, they get your number and text you about things not pertinent to your lease payments. Then all of a sudden they'll be threatening to evict you over nothing? Another review says they like to pick fights. Let me tell you right now 100% that seems to be the case. I don't know if they are just not with the times and are specifically antagonistic toward those of us outside of their ideal demographic. but if you're worried about not feeling safe in your own home, DO NOT take this chance.

Casie North was incredibly unprofessional and crossed the line to uncomfortable multiple times. She was often responded rudely to our messages and she took a threatening tone. Renting in Austin is stressful, due yourself a favor and not rent from her!

Don't rent from any of the properties Lynx manages because of how sketchy this company is. I was close to renting a place in Hyde Park and applied online with my guarantor as a college student, resulting in two $40 applications (one for myself and one for my guarantor), so $80 bucks total. After being approved, I was scheduled to move in but then Casie started to pester me about providing more proof to pay rent.

Isn't the whole point of applying with a guarantor that they will help you with rent? Why did I even get approved and even have a set move-in date if the company was skeptical of that. She even threatened that I would be evicted. Like? Just look at my renter's history, credit, or call my guarantor. Everything is in perfectly good shape. On top of that, this was after the fact that I had sent her and the company itself multiple emails regarding questions I had about their management practices (how much would I be fined for blank issue, how much notice do they usually give a tenant before a representative shows our unit, etc), and they didn't answer ANY of them.

So sketchy. They weren't being clear on any of the matters yet they wanted me to show up with the money. Of course. All they care about is money. Wasted $80 on them. Take my word, and don't rent from Lynx, ESPECIALLY if you are a student (you should avoid management companies in general). They will take advantage of you.

Like most property management companies, they have a rough time on review sites but our experience with Casie has been fantastic. After move in, every issue has been resolved quickly and with impressive communication from Casie. We are very happy to be living in our home through Lynx!

I've lived in a lynx property for almost a year. I experience the shift from dealing with problems with management before.but MAN LET ME TELL YOU! There has been a dramatic shift in customer service over the past 3-4 months. The property manager communicates with me and has helped me through several of my problems. The maintenance guys have been really helpful.

If i have a problem and bring it the maintenance call center or management it is addressed immediately. I'm glad Cassie is there. She's made my experience living at my new home so much better.

The unit is relatively well kept and nice, and the maintenance man (Todd) is very accessible, kind, and understanding. However, my problem with this service seems to be a common denominator across the rest of these reviews. Were we perfect tenants? Perhaps not, but the level of conflict-seeking that I received from this property manager is unprecedented.

She has been consistently rude, difficult, and dishonest in my time living here to the point where she has called several people's guarantor's and spread intentionally deceitful information with the hope of causing issues between the tenants and their families. It seems like rather than speak with us like adults and try to work things out in a calm and respectful manner; her first instinct is to scream, rant, rave, lie and make empty threats, which she has even tried (and failed) to carry out, ranging from eviction claims to things as laughable as expulsion from the University.

Aside from dealing with her, this living situation has been quite pleasant, but from those few interactions alone, I felt as if it was necessary for me to warn future potential clients. If not for Todd, my review would almost certainly be one star.

This company manages an office building in San Antonio (The Park on Medical) and they do not provide any upkeep on the buildings. There are non functional lights both over stairwells and outside buildings that cause safety hazards (Sept 28). The roof leaks and I have had water actually pouring down from the ceiling while I am meeting with clients in my office (Oct 7).

There is not a functional mailbox for the tenants to use (Sept 28). The property manager and the maintenance man both continuously promise that these things will be fixed within a week's time. I have heard those promises for over 8 weeks now-since I moved in. At first, they were very "responsive", replying to my texts and emails with feigned surprise that the problems exist followed by promises of quick turnarounds.

Now they don't even respond to the emails any more, though the problems are the same and there's been no progress on fixing the problems. I cannot emphasize enough that these are out and out lies; it's not like someone has tried to fix the problem and is waiting on parts, etc. I still have a hole in my ceiling tile; there is still a leak in the roof, the mailboxes weren't working when I moved in on Sept 25 and the lights didn't work, and I was told they would be fixed by Oct 1.

Nothing has been done on any of the issues. The other tenants are complaining about the same issues and they are also ignored. I was actually going to rent a larger space in the complex and expand my business, but because of the complaints from my clients about the condition of the property and the poor response from management, I will not being doing any more business in buildings where this property management company is involved.

Leanne Sobol at Rustic Creek Apartments not only failed to have appliances installed on my move in date so I did not have a refrigerator, oven or dishwasher for almost 5 full days. There is a water heater in the ONLY closet located in my bedroom so I had no closet space. My upstairs neighbor was not told to stop throwing cigarette butts over her balcony onto my porch (this is a fire hazard), squeaky pipes and plumbing that was never fixed by the non-English speaking, non-certified repair man and last but not least, some how a fake eviction made it to my credit history. Over one year later and I was able to get proof that this is a lie. Watch your back.
