Weigand-Omega Management is a family company that was founded in 1976 by Bob Hanson (CEO) with a simple idea, "there has to be a better way to do property management." He has devoted his life to build Weigand-Omega Management into the thriving business it is today, and that legacy continues to grow with his visionary son Craig Hanson (President) at the helm.
Weigand-Omega's success is rooted in our culture based on these core values that bind us together. Our shared purpose, mission, values, goals, practices, and behaviors that define our organization. My Neighbor's Keeper began in 2015 as an outlet for the associates of Weigand-Omega Management and Omega Senior Living to serve their local communities in meaningful ways across the nation. Our Advisory Board is made up of employees who steer company-wide initiatives that are carried out in each prospective community that our staff live and work in.
Community - being a part of a group of people who live life together is part of what makes life meaningful. I wouldn't move there I was with the old management and they treated me good as soon as play game Omega management came they sued me for the little change that I had after being there on the contract for 3 months

I worked for weigand for 23 years.put in a lot of work, lot of hours, I know I retired but you would have thought I would have at least got a thank you.they owed me nothing while I was working for them except what I worked for but a simple thank you seem to be to much

I was provided the opportunity into the property management industry by Patricia "Ms. Pat" Lickiss, Regional Manager with Weigand Omega Management. Myself and the residents were ecstatically well pleased with the level of professionalism and quick response to the residents and property needs that was provided by Weigand Omega Management. I had the time of my life while employed with Weigand Omega. Ms. Pat was so supportive as my Regional Manager.

I couldn't have had a better supervisor than Ms. Pat if I was allowed to have chosen my own. There was never a time that I could not reach her by phone, text or email. My 16 months with Ms. Pat and Weigand Omega was exceptional! I was truly blessed with having the opportunity to have worked for the absolute best management company ever and the most kind, respectful, supportive, dedicated, committed and loyal professional Regional Manager, Patricia "my Ms. Pat" Lickiss.

Every rental property need Weigand Omega Management as their management company and every employee in the industry need "Ms. Pat" as their supervising Regional Manager. The level of professionalism shown and the way you all executed strategies to "get things done" was truly amazing. The opportunity provided to me to serve as property manager for an 80 unit property granted me another opportunity into property management to manage a 242 unit property. Ms. Pat, Amity, and Weigand Omega, you all served me well. Weigand, I miss you. Ms. Pat, I love you for all that you did for me, the support shown, the patience given and the guidance you provided in assigning me one of your best property managers, Amity McCabe to serve as my mentor. Amity you made my experience fun and exciting.

The patience you had in explaining and working with me was inexplainable. Critical: Professionalism Horrible experience! Istvan Harassed me to the point of me threatening a restraining order. When I complain to upper management they did nothing. I am forced to pay more per square foot than other people on the floor. I can't say anything good about this company!

Since they have taken over the complex we no longer have house house keeping for the hallways or laundry rooms. So everything is dirty. Spiderwebs all over the place. Had to clean my own apartment before moving in because they don't even have anyone who does that. Could say a whole lot more but I'll just say beware!

I had a wonderful experience working with Weigand Omega. Ish was extremely helpful during the time he managed the 400 Woodlawn building. Not only did he show me the room I decided to rent, he went out of his way to show it to me a second time so I could make my final decision. Professional and quick to respond with my questions and concerns

I found them to be very easy to work with. Reliable and genuinely concerned with the tenants at the properties they manage. Occasionally a problem would arise that the person that owns the property would not fix, but the management company did their best.

I have been a tenant @ a Weigand-Omega managed bldg @ 400 N. Woodlawn for almost 9 yrs. I've liked & respected all of the bldg mgrs wth Weigand during my tenure. Have gr8 respect for Istavan who has been our assigned mgr for ~ last 3-4 yrs. He makes himself available, resolves issues expeditiously, and is passionate about providing customer care!

Just curious. does Weigand ever check up on their employees or their property's? Ashley Lane has turned into a trash heap. Your new manager walks around on her cell phone all day and smoking, usually in the office. Your maintenance woman physically cannot do her job. The porter you've recently hired walks around at a snail's pace carrying a dust pan. doing NOTHING!

There is trash everywhere, the hallways are disgusting, the laundry room is filthy and you have neighborhood hoodlums swimming in our pool, plugging radios into the office outlet causing a major trip hazard and too much noise. And. its party central! Wanna smoke pot? Wanna get drunk? Play loud music? Come to the neighborhood pool at Ashley Lane. Meanwhile, my rent goes up.

My rating is specifically with regards to the lack of providing a safe environment for the two years I have lived in the Des Moines building. Noise has been a CONSTANT problem on my floor. I have been woken up so many times at 3:00 am (bar closing time) that I have lost count. I can't function the next day. I have called the police when management failed to improve conditions. Also, the huge air gap under your door means you can hear every word in the hallways, especially at 3:00 am.

There are no cameras on the floor! So no accountability. And the motorcycle noise was UNBEARABLE. I believe it shaved a few years off my life span due to constant stress. I had to call police about the motorcycle noise on many occasions. I could also mention the people stealing toilet paper from the public restrooms, the drug addicts who were sleeping in the basement, the next door tenant who illegally sublet her place for six months right under the nose of management, the list goes on.

I have been extremely blessed to have been with the company for a little over 21 years. I often say that I would have worked here longer, if I had known about them sooner! Our company's culture, spelled out in our Mission, Vision and Values statements, are to me what makes this company the best to work for. More than just words written on a sheet of paper, they are an active and integral part of all that we do here.

From how we are treated as employees, to the many customers we serve, you would be hard pressed to find any other company its equal. Am I a little biased in my point of view? Perhaps, but I am being very truthful when I say, that there has never been a time that I was not proud to be a part of this team. Thank you Bob and Craig for giving me the opportunity to learn and grow from some of the best in the industry.

I live at one of the properties and I'm moving, they raised my rent by $200 and I have to move to where I don't want to plus put an extra $300 deposit when I already put a deposit on the apt I'm at. I got a pest control note on my door and if I refuse service cause I have asthma they are going to fine me. They also was going to fine me $200 for things on my balcony when there is nothing on my balcony. The pool has never been open. You can't wash your clothes after 5 pm, they lock the doors. We went from a 95% occupancy down to a 10% occupancy in the last 5 months.

This company took over my apartment complex not even 2 months ago. This is the perfect company if you don't like your bills being paid or you want them paid late. The no care staff has made it impossible for me to get anything done. Checks arrive late or not at all and they don't ever have any information for the management staff at my complex. So in conclusion if you are looking for a company to hire please look the other way. In one word to sum this company up is JOKE. From the top of the chain to the bottom.

Weigand Omega is more than a joke. They will manage The Reserves at South Plains on 98th and U currently under construction. They are going to destroy the community with their lack of management and they will allow anyone to move in regardless of their rental, credit, or criminal history. They are a company with no morals or values. They treat there employes horribly.

The owners they manage for build shabby apartments and never finish them to completion. Weigand allows their landscaping to overgrow, they do not pay their bills, they do not train their employees, they understaff and have unrealistic expectations of everyone that works for them. It is clearly evidenced by the number of employees that have quit and/or been let go just this year alone.

If you are an owner, take your business elsewhere. If you are considering renting, don't! They don't even deserve the one star but it won't let me post if I don't give the one star!
