I've lived in a del sol property for over three years. They have tried to evict me twice for having a service animal, going so far as to make up lies that my dog attacked the mail man several times but had no documentation. They will not update anything after you move in you have to pull teeth with Janey while she plays this good cop, bad cop act and hangs up on you any time she doesn't want to deal with your issue and feels you're yelling at her because she brings you to a point of extreme frustration.
They are responsive but they aren't the responses you're going to want to hear. She acts like it's the owner that has the issues when he's the nicest guy I may have ever met and it's just her and her minions in the office that are to blame not the owner. He's hands on at his properties, even though he has them manage his properties for some reason.
He should probably just do it himself. I don't feel like this is my home, I'm constantly walking on egg shells with them. All my screens are falling out, cabinets are probably the originals from when the place was built. I had a leak in my kitchen and their was damage done, the kitchen floor is just cut out and glued on. They rig everything they come here to fix, it never lasts.
They could careless about the damage done to my kitchen, they stopped the leak and then it happened again and Janey told me I would have to leave my home and move if they needed to remodel the kitchen a week after I wrote her a letter telling her I do not feel like this is my home and I should, I'm a great tenant and neighbor that has always paid my rent on time and there's absolutely no reason that I've been treated the way I have by them.
They aren't the worst property management you'll ever come across but they are no where near good. Everyone in my complex has complaints and feels the same way about how they treat all of us. They are extremely unprofessional. They have told me all through COVID that they have no maintenance, when there's ton of people that are unemployed, looking for employment and I'm sure they could've filled the position in a day.
I would really like to hear what their excuse is now that COVID is over. I wouldn't say don't rent from them because they do have ideal locations and my apartments one of the biggest two bedrooms in pacific beach with a garage and parking, but if I could find something better I would move in a heart beat. If you rent a unit from them make sure you ask for anything you want updated before move in and take pictures of everything! Fair warning!

I've been a tenant of Del Sol Property Management's for five years. They are very helpful whenever I have a problem with my apartment and get those problems fixed. If the time should arise that I need to rent a larger place, I would certainly look to them first to try and find a new place. Additionally when friends ask me about apartment listings, I always tell them to look at Del Sol's website first.

I simply called and asked a question about one of their listed properties accepting Section 8. She was so rude and had such a bad attitude towards me. I could have accepted the "no" answer, but it was the way she said it. It's like she took special effort to nasty. If I had property managed by Del Sol, and I learned they were treating people like this, I'd change companies.
