It is owned by Mike and Cynthia Essary. Mike has been in real estate management/brokerage for over 25 years. Cynthia has been doing real estate accounting for over 30 years. Both Mike and Cynthia have worked for local and LA real estate companies and banking institutions. Though not extensive in size, the Calsur team is a very tight knit group and is focused on providing service, and everyone is willing to help each other. There is a policy of open communication and disclosure of company direction that adds to the team spirit of the Calsur people.

Traditional management of HOA's involves various fees for different essential services; monthly assessment billing, homeowner meeting attendance, owner transfers, mortgage/escrow statements. Calsur's management is done with a single flat fee for management so HOA's are better able to budget and control the management portion of their expenses.
