I have lived in their brooklyn building for 4 years and have had such a great experience with them. I am so sad to leave this wonderful building that I call home, where I made great friends with my neighbors. I always spoke to Adam from management and he is such an awesome and friendly landlord. They were very prompt to answer whenever I had an issue.

And Adam was kindly able to extend my lease before I could move into the new co-op that I am purchasing. I also have to give great praise to their superintendent Johnny. He goes above and beyond whenever I needed help for anything. He is a great man and I consider him family.

Another winter without consistent HEAT unless I use my split system in the AC (my electric bill). Another year of leaks and water stains. Will this ever be addressed professionally? The civil head of the Board, Angus Has Left the Building. His remarks were I almost deserve it for living there. He and His wife now live out here, Bellport Long Island? where I have my weekend home well managed.

This has gone on far too long especially with John, the former maintenance man, who has told me repeatedly, there is nothing to be done AND he could not fix the problems. I find it strange that when I do complain to Roberto, our acting manager, he will give a little building heat (steam) if I beg. R Stephen Seibt, PH-C

Fantastic management company. Very responsive with any questions or issues with the apartment. Kept the building in great shape, and were very courteous and professional throughout our entire rental tenure. Highly recommend!

I've had a great experience living in a building managed by Superior for the past 2 years! The team is extremely nice and reasonable to work with when it comes to signing and negotiating apartment leases, especially during the pandemic. Especially appreciate the quick response to maintenance requests.

We had a positive experience living at one of their managed properties in the West Village for two years. Most notably, the team was highly responsive to any questions/requests regarding our apartment. My roommate would send an email (often to Zade on the management team, specifically) if we encountered any issues with appliances or the shower and we almost always heard back within ~24 hours. Even if the plumber or handyman could only swing by a couple days later, it was nice to get in touch with someone immediately, schedule a time, etc.

Negative stars if I could. (1.) After we signed our lease and the realtor gave us keys we could not get a hold of the management company at all. We repeatedly tried to get a hold of our super to find out move information, how to pay our rent, the code to get in the building to move in, who provides electricity to the building and we could not get a hold of anyone.

We showed up to move in and had to wait to for someone to let us in to move because we couldn't get the code. We googled who to set our electricity up with. One month in and we still could not get anyone to answer our questions until the last email I sent the day rent was due telling them we didn't know where/how to they want us to pay rent (imagine that, they answer when it comes to money). (2.) On the day of move-in we get to our apartment with movers and they can't move any of our stuff in because there are piles of junk the last tenants left filing up the entire floor in each room that management had not bothered to come clean out.

Then once they got that cleaned up the movers still couldn't move our stuff in because the painter was there painting all of the walls --the movers charged us major extra and then had to pile all of our stuff in the middle of the rooms because of the wet paint so we ended up having to break our backs anyways moving & setting up all our furniture. (3.) Once we got in we noticed so many huge things (not small little fix ups) they should have fixed before we moved in and didn't.

Our front door lock was broken (very dangerous), the door to the bedroom was falling off the hinges we can't even try to close it, there is a large chunk of our wall taken out in the bathroom that is just covered by cardboard taped up over it, the back of our pantry wall was knocked in and mice were crawling through eating our food, our tiny old fridge leaks onto the floor and so bad inside that everything we put in there gets soaked which is a major health hazard.

We are two months in and they still have not fixed the major things after we have repeatedly asked. I haven't even listed the small things or this review would be even more of a novel. Absolutely, by far, the worst management company I have ever experienced of the 8 I have rented from. **And on a small side note, if this matters to you when renting, with this management company the site they have us pay rent on charges a $75 convenience fee if you want to pay with a credit card.

I rented from Superior for 11 years. The building was safe and clean, with continuing improvements, including security cameras. The staff is professional and organized. Other highlights include monthly rent invoices, organized renewal offers, prompt repairs and service, online rent payment options. It's the absolute opposite of shadiness you find in many other NYC rentals. Superior has been a big reason for my commitment to live in NYC.

I'm sure you've heard the horror stories and think all NYC landlords suck. Not in this case, Superior Management is a breath of fresh air. Always courteous. Always professional, they really care about their buildings and treat tenants with respect. I had to break my lease and their policy (written online on their website under FAQ) is totally fair and Jonathan was all over it when I found new qualified applicants to fulfill my lease.

Everything was taken care of and finalized within a day including the new lease. Zade is faster than an auto responder in getting back to you regarding any maintenance requests. I had a burner go out in my oven and they had someone in the area, he was there within hours even though it wasn't really urgent. Another time my bathtub was not draining and it ended up being a hair clog.

The super does a great job with the building and minds his own business. The application process and move in were easy and seamless, they take online payments, and anytime I needed anything they always respond promptly. Highly recommended!

I will be leaving my Superior Management run building in Chelsea at the end of the month. I've lived in the unit for almost 6 years and found Superior to be a very professional and responsive company. They were always prompt with their attention to my maintenance requests and were willing to go out of their way to help me with the logistics of my move out. After hearing so many horror stories from my friends about their landlords in New York, I consider myself very fortunate to have lived in a Superior run building.
