We are located in San Diego's beautiful Mission Beach, a narrow stretch of sand or peninsula, bordering on picturesque Mission Bay to the east and on the Pacific Ocean to the west. Mission Beach waterfront properties offer spectacular ocean or bay views, as do many of those situated in between on the area's numerous courts. Our rentals are either on or a couple minutes walk to the oceanfront and Mission Bay -- so the choice is up to you!
Services
All units are furnished with basic housekeeping items. At a minimum, kitchens are supplied with dishes, pots and pans, silverware, cutlery, coffee-pot, toaster and microwave. All have a BBQ. Inquire as to whether it is gas or charcoal. You will need to bring briquettes and lighter if it is charcoal.
A reservation deposit of 50% of the rent must accompany your reservation form in order for the reservation to be validated. A confirmation will be mailed or faxed to you, stating the balance of rent, 10.5% transient occupancy tax and amount of security/cleaning deposit required for the specific unit reserved.

Great location. My wife and I have stayed in Mission Beach every summer for the past 14 years (except 2020, of course). Sometimes we bring several relatives, but this may be our new go-to property when it's only the two of us. We love being on the ocean front, sliding the curtains open to look out at the crashing waves, stepping right outside for a walk.
We enjoy all the activity. This cottage is small and cozy and well maintained. The shower is excellent! Laundry room only steps away. The cable/Internet is very fast (though we lost signal momentarily a few times each evening). I would suggest that the property managers provide a better description of the parking situation. (You do not park in the garage/carport; instead you are in front of the Tow-Away sign and that is a very short space.) Management is very responsive. though once we got settled in and parked, we did not have any problems. Hope to be back next year! If we could afford to live right on the beach, my wife and I would stay here all year long.

My sister stayed in two of Mission Beach Management's properties during a travel nurse stent in San Diego. She felt like the company was very responsive and transparent. Both properties were clean and well maintained. The location is unbeatable, steps away from the pacific and all that mission beach has to offer.

We like the cottages at 3825 & 3829 Ocean Front walk and have spent 2 weeks in each over the previous 18 months. 1950's rustic charm and updated nicely inside with about everything a reasonable person needs to relax & enjoy the beach. Any store or shop or eatery or boat rental or tour is less than a mile away in any direction. We take our bikes when we go here & ride to most places or Uber if it is farther away.
Parking for my big crewcab truck was tight but manageable. Our 3 member family eats in & out while on vacation and had no problems in the kitchen or with the BBQ grill. Being right on the beach is awesome.the price point is great.a load of beach toys, chairs, boards, umbrellas, etc is right there too.and the shared washer & dryer make it so we can pack light.we will return

These cottages are our new favorite places to stay in Mission Beach. They are priced right for the market. They aren't fancy but have everything you need and are clean and kitchen is updated. We spend most of our time on the beach when we visit Mission anyway. Luke and Sarina are pleasant and easy to work with.

We loved staying here. The location was incredible. Being able to open all the doors and windows to see, hear, and smell the ocean was therapeutic and beautiful. The people watching was unparalleled and the ability to walk 10 feet and be on the beach was beyond perfect. Accommodations were simple, clean, and cozy. The management staff was helpful and courteous. We won't stay anywhere else when we visit Mission Beach.

I booked one of Mission Beach Managements properties through Airbnb. Unfortunately I had to cancel the trip due to a health concern regarding my immune system, as I am recently in remission from cancer. I explained the situation to them and asked for a refund so I could rebook the trip in the future when my health stabilizes. Their immediate response was "they understood, " insinuating they would be flexible on the refund.
When I followed up, they hid behind their cancellation policy and only refunded the cleaning fee, which was 6% of the entire booking. They ended up getting a booking for the weekend I cancelled so my cancellation did not lead to them losing a full week of rentals. On their website they state that they refund if they are still able to book it but their Airbnb policy is different.
They are well within their rights as business owners to keep my money but I am extremely disappointed in the lack of humanity and compassion in handling the situation and the greed in not refunding, even a partial fee, for the days they were able to get a replacement booking. I would recommend renting through a company that operates with care and genuine understanding for the people they do business with.
