AJR Management

So grateful for these guys! We needed a rental ASAP and finding a place to rent in Fresno a few months ago was impossible. Makenna was so helpful with getting us into a rental and John has been amazing with maintenance requests and super quick to get back to us if we need anything. Very happy with these guys and would highly recommend them!

I been renting for years from different prop management companies and this one tops them all. If you have an issue they address it in a timely manner. John/jessica/Mckenzie have all been great. If I did not purchase a home I would still continue to rent from them. Their properties are all nicely managed as well. Highly recommend.

Both Jon and Jessica have treated us fairly and respectfully over the last two and a half years. Very responsive to any needs, small or large. Once, after a very strong wind, part of the yard fencing was blown over. Jon immediately got someone over to repair and our neighbors were so thankful that a major part of their yard, which had wood sections all over, was cleaned up quickly. Would recommend AJR to anyone looking to rent or buy, or have them manage your property.

Are whole experience with AJR went smoothly. The office staff was pleasant to work with. I would recorecommend AJR management to anyone. Oh and when we had a slight problem with a plumbing issue, they were their to fix it immediately.

Jessica really went over and above with helping me get approved for one of their rental properties. I was called within hours of dropping off my application. I had a few complications with getting verification back from previous rental properties and instead of them turning me down they kept trying. I also was not quite at the income requirements but because of the AJR team's willingness to put in the extra effort and verify all my past rental history they were able to get me approved.

They were very respectful and helpful and always answered their phones or called me back within an hour of leaving message. I would highly recommend working with them. They treat you like a person not just a "tenant".

After reading some of the reviews, I am shocked. Even though we did not get qualified at this time, Jessica was so nice and helpful and very professional. I will definitely use this company in the future.

John, Jessica and the entire AJR team make renters feel properties are their home and ensure owners investments retain value. As a renter and owner of rental properties I can attest to their unique abilities in resolving challenges before they become unnecessary problems. Their communication is professional, timely and collaborative with all parties.

They do all the heavy lifting for both owner/renter making the transition into a new home seamless and stress free experience. With most companies you get the bare minimum, but with John and Jessica you get a partner invested in your success.

At first, the male was eating while taking my paperwork. What kind of a professional does that?. When I had to pick up my refund I was told to meet the female at 1pm at the office. She showed up at 125pm with food and starbucks inhand with an attitude as if it was my fault she had to hurry. Then she rudely gave me my paperwork and refund. These people are rude, unprofessional.

I rented a house from them 3 years ago after my divorce. Just recently a tenant of mine in another house moved out and I needed a property manager. They would not return my many calls and I finally got the owner, I think was John. He said he would call me back the next day. NEVER heard back. Not a good business practice. I would definitely choose another company. Beware.

I have been looking for a Rental home for a few weeks now. I contacted AJR because I came across one of their beautiful homes. The gal I spoke with was very polite and helpful and gave me all the information I needed! They were very good at following up with me to let me know what the status of my application was. I was very impressed with this company would defiantly recommend them to a friend! Thank you AJR!

Horrible company. Jessica is a bitch and John is an asshole. Rude, condescending. You would think someone in business would have some decorum of professionalism. Incredibly rude, will not return phone calls, when I finally tracked John down he was condescending and confrontational. They take months to assist. I have spoken with several other renters.not one has had anything good to say about them.their five star reviews are probably from themselves. Do yourself a favor and find a REAL company.

Horrible, I will never rent from them. My roommate and I were looking for a house to rent, we came across this beautiful home we asked them if pets were accepted, they said yes. It also said pets were allowed in their description. So we fill out an application, turn it in along with the money and then they tell us pets are not allowed. We asked them why they said yes, and had it in the description in the first place. they laughed and said, "we put it there because people like to lie about having pets and this is a way to get them to confess that they have pets". That is so unethical, I will never be renting from them. Waste of my time!

My husband and I moved out of state but we were not ready to sell our home. We interviewed about 4 or 5 management companies and there was no comparison. Jessica came to our home and talked us through their process, from what we needed to do to what their process for interviewing potential renters. Jessica and John are consummate professionals. We always knew what was going on, and we always knew everything was taken care of.

When it came time to sell our house, Jessica was able to transition right into listing the property. She took care of all the details and really fought to get us a great price for our home. I have nothing but great things about AJR!

From a past landlord's perceptive, Jessica was very rude and demanding. I was only supplying information she needed but I felt like I was a client who owed money or something. It is customary to give someone 24 hours to fill out and return paperwork but she called at 2:15pm, faxed the request for info at 2:28pm, called again at 5:19pm and again at 9:24am the next morning.

When I called at 10:29am to let her know the paperwork had been faxed and that it is customary to allow 24 hours for a response on this kind of request she was very rude and dismissive. I would not do business with them. Hopefully she does well on the other end for my past renter.

From a landlord's perspective, they have done a great job with my property over several years. They communicate well (email is my preference), and are always responsive. Rent is received from them in a timely manner as well. Unlike some other property managers I have used, I have no complaints with AJR!

I had a nice experience with AJR management. I rented a home from them for a year and 4 months, when my contract was up I asked to be put on month to month. When I did that they asked nicely why I would not like to sign a new lease. I told them I was preparing to purchase a house. Jessica and John assisted me in finding and purchasing a house of my own and I couldn't possibly come up with a reason I wouldn't recommend them.

In fact I recommend anyone who needs a nice clean house with a company that will not just let your issues set, they promptly attack whatever the issue is. Jessica is very particular but I can't say that is a bad thing. if you are a home owner who rents out a house she is exactly who you want on your side. As for move out protocol and what everyone else was mentioning to be a pain.

I had no issues and anything that was mentioned on the final walkthrough I had plenty of time to address. I received my full deposit back and didn't think anything they asked of me was out of place. John is very professional and I never had any problems. Overall if I ever want to rent my home out I would list with them.

I yelped this placed because we were experiencing some problems after moving out. We only lived there for a year, when we moved out the place still had the new paint smell. Now we're paying for absolutely ridiculous fixes. The other reviews are right on about this place.

I have been a property investor for some time now and have used multiple companies to manage my properties, but once i started working with AJR Management i have transferred all my homes to them. I have even had to short sale one of my properties and they were able to help me with that. They are very friendly and professional. I HIGHLY recommend working with them.

They only got one star because it was the lowest available. If you are looking for a company to rent out your home DO NOT waste your money! We rented from a property that they "managed". They girl who is the office manager was awful. When it came time for us to move out we had questions about what we needed to do to prepare for move out. Instead of nicely answering questions she told us that we were treating her like she didn't know how to do her job.

We had an appointment to do our final walk through and since it was on a holiday she wanted to change the date of our appointment less than the legal 48 hour notice needed. She was unable to make an exception for us and decided to hang up the phone on us 3 times. My husband and I kept the place so clean and beautiful & always paid rent on time, so sad that is how we were treated. Stay away from AJR Management. They want to keep all your money and will ignore you and talk very rude to you on the phone if you try and get all of your deposit back.
