We manage properties in Fresno, Clovis and Madera, California. Rental Management Company is owned and operated by Jeff and Linda Teliha. Our company was started by Bob Hooke, Linda's father in the early 1980s. It began as a business involving friends and family. After the business was taken over by Jeff and Linda, that mindset continued.
I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the experience of renting a home through Rental Management Company. The staff were professional, respectful and diligent in duties and they took the time to always ensure that my needs were met in a timely and judicious manner. They always treated me and my family with respect and dignity.
Managing your property in a way that makes your life easier is our priority. We want you to be happy and confident with the way we do things so we think of how we would want our property managed and we use that as a model. Jeff is a licensed real estate broker who can also assist you with buying and selling your investment.
We offer homes, apartments, condos, and office space for rent throughout Clovis and Fresno. Our goal is to make your rental experience as simple and easy as possible. We start by providing easy-to-use tools for your rental search, and then continue to offer excellent communication through your entire tenancy with automated phone service and email. See our policies and procedures for renting from Rental Management Company.

Very unprofessional realtors. I reached out to them multiple times about multiple properties they had listed only to never receive a response and find out that now the property is pending sale when we asked about it weeks ago. This is very disappointing and I'm sure you could find a better group to use as a realtor or rental management company.

If I could put zero stars I would. I inquired today about a rental property where Linda called me to tell me she had loads of applications for her rentals (70 to be exact) and she could not allow me to view the property because people who turned in their application had priority. I then told her "thanks for the heads up I don't want to apply to a home that has 70 applications" she then says, well we go through applications quickly and you probably don't qualify if you don't want to apply.
I laughed it off, thanked her and continued about my day. I believe she was angry I didn't bother giving her $42 cash or didn't fall for this ridiculous stunt. (70 applications and you want me to pay you to be #71? ) The comments are completely true. I'd look elsewhere when renting. It's a waste of your time

I've never rented from this place and I most certainly never would either! I recently contacted their office 4/14/21 and left a message for a Linda Teliha in regards to some details for a rental, 24 hours later she calls me and comes off like it was too much of a hassle to even call me back. So when I started asking her about the rental and if I could go see it she tells me that I have to first pay her a "standard" 40 dollar fee to see the place by filling out a application for it.
I mentioned that I'd like to see it first before I would apply and she says " I have stacks of applicants who have filled out an application" and paid the fees just to make an appointment to see the home. WTF! I don't know how they can be okay with EXTORTING money form hard working folks just to let someone walk in and see a place that they might or might not be interested in renting!.no wonder they've managed to be in business for "30" years! #ScetchyAssPlace

Had a pretty good experience leasing a property. I liked working with a smaller, more local company. We first tried working with a larger rental company and they flat out told us "we manage a lot of properties and cant give you specific info", but with Rental Management Co we were is good contact the whole way, they were nice and responsive.

Love my home! We have been here coming on a year now. Had an issue with the sprinklers this summer and they had someone out the next day. Just last month we were getting so worried about our PG&E bill cause it was getting so high then the ac started acting up. They had a guy out here the next day after letting them know it was not working and now ac works great and our bill got cut in half! Need a few super minor things done since the beginning of the year but honestly covid got in the way of those so we haven't bugged about it. :.

Great experience working with this rental managment company! Been renting for a short time, so far everything has been taken care of in a timely manner. Had the heat go off, was very concerned about my disabled son. Linda had someone come out and repair the same day! Very grateful for such a quick response.

This company is amazing! Linda helped us get into our new home and the process went smoothly and quickly. There were a few issues with the property when we moved in (missing fence board, baseboards) minor things like that but the team was very quick at addressing the issues and got the ball rolling to have those issues fixed that day. I called about a leaking toilet yesterday and they had maintenance contact me Immediately.
They are very quick to help with any concerns or issues on the property. I would Recommend this company. Out of all the properties in Fresno we were able to find our little gem because of their team. Thank you so much guys!

Horrible service, staff is very disrespectful and rude. they don't return phone calls. send Shady handyman to fix any request. put in a total of six requests/work order for the same problem.rental management company @ 4045 N. Fresno St. #105 Fresno, CA.! Rental Management Company only care about you paying your rent, they don't care about fixing any request the proper way for tenant to live in a safe place/house. they brush you off. and was told "if you don't like the way we fix things you should move, just move or fix it yourself simply so no problem ok".! Maybe it's time for Code Enforcement to come out.!

Home owners beware this company will not take care of your property. They manage a single family home on my block. After City Code Enforcement became involved the property was cleaned up. Their tenants have six cars with only three adults. Three are being driven the other three are sitting blocking parking for other neighbors. The tenants or this company have no regards for their neighbors parking situation.
City can only come out after cars have been parked for 72 hours. Then it takes City another 3-4 days to tag it to be moved. Tenant just rotates them around. For three weeks I have tried to speak to someone to have their tenant move their car so I can but out my trash, with no response. Maybe this Company should pay my trash bill since I have not been able to use it. I'm so disappointed, this company has no regards for others that have to deal with this.

If I could give Jeff a negative star I would! He is unprofessional and unresponsive to calls from neighboring property owners. After months of unanswered calls, I finally got a call back which ended when he hung up on me. I'm only asking for him to trim a dead tree on his property which is tangled in the power/phone lines leading into my property. I would NOT recommend using his property management services.

Where to begin. Should I start with Linda Telia acting like you are bothering her simply by turning in an application to rent. Last time I checked marketing a property calls for a friendly and approachable personality. Maybe I should start with her inability to provide quality customer service by taking time out to return an applicants phone call. Doing this prevents the applicant from having to keep trying to reach her over and over again.
Or do I start with Linda's husband who is also the managing Broker that violates Fair housing laws, by denying an applicant based off a credit report six days after having their credit report in hand. Six days after Linda viewed it and talked with the applicant on 3 different days, yet never mentioned credit being an issue. Only thing she told the applicant that she needed to approve or deny was a good reference from current and prior landlords.
I think I should start with a Fair Housing compliant on the managing Broker Jeff Talia. Why? Telling a person with excellent rental history and income that they are denied based off of a credit report, then turning around and working with other applicants with bad credit violates Fair Housing Laws and should be reported. It's called a Desperate Impact claim!

Really pleasant experience so far. I'm relocating from Southern California so I was eager to secure housing. Linda was great to take my calls, show the property and get minor things addressed before I signed the lease. Jeff in the office was courteous, explained the documents and responded to my questions and concerns. I can't wait to move in next weekend and feel confident that any future concerns I have will be addressed promptly. Thank you.

This was the worst experience. Once receiving keys we went back at night to do our own basic cleaning. Dead bugs in cupboards and live roaches in the shower. Stood on a stool and the shelving above the cupboards have probably never ever been wiped down. A pipe from the water heater had leaked water onto the carpet and in the wall of a bedroom. At 6 the following morning my son in law went to the rental and fogged the home and turned off the water so no further damage could be done.
My daughter started calling and emailing Jeff the owner of the company and he didn't respond until around 5 in the evening. He stated to my son in law that it sounds like you don't want the house, to which he replied yes we do but these things need to be taken care of first. JEFF ended up saying it doesn't seem like it so you can pick up your money Monday morning.
He never offered to fix any issues. Didn't appreciate the water being turn off or the fogging. It's sad that the owners trust these people to take care of their investment and they clearly are not. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. These pics are prior to fogging IMG_0306. JPG.jpeg IMG_0311. The bookkeeper/receptionist is very nice and friendly. However, the wife of this husband and wife owner-team is about the rudest person I've ever spoken to. She called my husband to say we were qualified (instead of me, the one who dropped everything off, called previously, etc). So I called back to get the information she had given my husband (he works in a shop environment so couldn't pass it all along).
My very simple, confirmation type questions were met with scorn and disgust. Do not believe the owner replies on here - they may have clearly written policies, but you can express and enforce them without speaking to someone like they are stupid. At one point, because I asked if we could drop income verification off at the same time we viewed, she stated she didn't believe we were actually interested in the house.
Which is a far stretch, based on a simple question. What I'm seeing is that Rent Fresno is going to end up with those who are desperate enough to take their shit from Linda, and then they may be happy after (since I've heard you don't have to deal with her after you're moved in).

These guys are great! I've been renting a gorgeous house in NW fresno for almost 4 years at a great price. They were honest and easy to deal with when I was looking and now as a tenant, they come quickly and get the job done when we have issues, a new water heater, Air conditioning repair and even a leaking roof got fixed all within 48 hours of call for service Micheal and his son have always come over quickly and politely to fix anything wrong with the house. 5 Stars, Christopher Cox

When I called to enquire about a property, the first thing the woman asked was, "have you looked through the windows and went into the back yard?" When I explained to her that it was against the law to just arbitrarily do that without permission, she said, "well, we ask that you do that before making an appointment to see the property." She did tell me the property was vacant after I asked but just the way the brief conversation went.
I dont think I want to do business with them. Maybe it would have been different if the add on Zillow or Trulia would have said to do that.but it didn't. And I wouldn't want them to send people to look through my windows. Hopefully they dont do that with properties that are not vacant. But it doesn't sound like they care.

Based on how the owners of the property suddenly hired this business to evict us and the fact that we had to contend with this business, the owners, and occasionally the deed holder, it's very obvious to see how they got us off of the property and why they wouldn't give us a 60 days to vacate notice instead of going full blown eviction. After all.
This was my wife's family - my in laws having us evicted for retaliatory reasons, which we have documented. We also have full documentation that they were hired so they didn't have to get their hands dirty - so that we could not direct our answer in the UD process to them, instead we were being sued by this business. Seams highly questionable ethically, morally, and legally.

Spoke with a lady over the phone, I have to say I felt a negative sort of vibe once she started talking. I didn't feel welcome nor did I feel like they were trying to "sell" or however you want to say it. With all the negative reviews from months and even years ago, I am surprise Rental Management Co had not took the opportunity to review themselves and make themselves better to their customers.
I've seen replies to other post but I still see negative reviews which could probably mean they are not doing anything about their services. If I could, I would rate this rental management Co a big fat 0. Maybe it's just that one lady ticking everyone off and making the whole rental management Co look bad. I would never rent from them ever due to the first initial contact with their people.

This place is the worst. Asking to fill out an application and providing all your personal information before you can even see a property is unethical and in this day age of identity theft, dangerous. Instead of telling you that place is already rented, they encourage you to submit an application and pay their fee and then you're in the priority listing to go see the property.
They are rude and act like they don't need the business. There are plenty of companies that know how to treat customers with respect and dignity. Unless there is a Property that they have that you absolutely cannot live without, I suggest you deal with another company.

It helped that Jeff with was more than a property manager. He was my sales agent/broker and "go to guy" for the resources to fix and sell my homes that he previous managed for years. Jeff fixed and sold three houses in five months. He made my transition smooth. My family and I have had a long standing working relationship with Rental Management Company. Jeff is reliable, efficient and available.
He makes things easy and his office assistants, Linda and Cindy, did just the same. Everyone was delight to work with. Thank you Rental Management Company for the last forty plus years of managing properties. You are the best! Lisa Harwin

When my husband and I were considering investing in residential properties we found everyone at at Rental Management Company to be professional, considerate and knowledgable. Jeff provided us with individualized, well thought out information. Linda and Cindy were friendly and helpful. Their website is easy to navigate. I'd recommend this company to anyone looking for a property management company.

I see some of the reviews on here but honestly I have no complaints at all. I rented a condo last year. Linda was very upfront and honest about everything which is what I appreciated. She was good about communicating in a timely manner about any updates when we were in the process of moving in. She also took the time to show us the condo before we moved in which was nice.
I feel like while I was a tenant I got a lot for what I paid for and I enjoyed my business relationship with Rental Management Company. They were always very cheerful when we would go into the office. Overall I was happy with my stay and I would recommend them for anyone looking for a place to rent.

I called to schedule a walk-through. Linda told me they "ask that you drive by, look in the backyard, make sure it's something you're really interested in before scheduling a walk-through." I told her that wasn't possible for me, since I'm coming from out of town, and that I'd prefer to do the viewing all in one go. She literally repeated herself word for word, and then ended with ".and take an application from the doorstep and complete it." I told her that I wasn't interested, and that there are plenty of other properties willing to work with me.
I understand rental companies don't want to waste their time on uninterested parties, but everyone I've spoken to thus far has understood my situation and agreed to work with me. Basically, she ignored my request, and was asking that I pay an application fee for a place before I even get to see the inside. These bad reviews are well-earned. Rude and unreasonable. I'm glad I dodged this bullet.
