You get that 1 star because of cheap rent that's about where it ends. Bad apartments, bad service. The online portal barely works. I also don't appreciate that I had to call 4 times and leave a voicemail to finally get a call back(I called during business hours). When I finally did get a call back I got the most condescending and rude voicemail ever. Considering I am the one paying you, I expect you to at least pretend to care.

I can't believe how many negative reviews, is going to two years I been living at my apartment and has been a great experience starting with office staff to the maintenance group. They are very professional, and I process ticket for maintenance to fix any it is need it and when I come back from work is already done the same day.

The worst and most prejudice rental agency in the state of Wisconsin. And they never return your calls.

Berg Management has been incredible! Cindy helped me find a one bedroom place to live in Waukesha really last minute and I love it! The building is super cute and well kept up. I love how dog friendly the area is and how close I am to trails, parks and downtown. The view on the hill is a plus. Also, the maintenance crew have been so helpful and responsive. I've been really pleased with renting from this company

Lived under berg for around 7 years. Maintenance has been poor. Had water issues in the bathroom since day 1. And was still an issue upon moving out. They won't turn the heat on till the end of October when it's already freezing making me and my children wear hoodies and shoes in our own apartment. Buildings are out of date and snow maintenance removal is especially poor.

I personally fell on the stairs and in the parking lot multiple times. The only plus was the affordable rent, that is now as high as ALOT nicer places around Waukesha. All in all, not worth it.

Two years living in a Berg Management property and we have no complaints. The office staff are always very helpful and friendly. Every time we had a situation in the apartment, they always helped us solve it quickly. Cindy and Janis are very patient, inclusive and caring people. Every visit to their office was a pleasant experience. We blindly recommend dealing with them, they will be very helpful!

There's a lot of negative reviews on here, but I had a very positive experience with Berg Management. Janice, the front desk receptionist, was always very polite, kind, and helpful. Cindy, the property manager, was SUPER helpful when I was moving out of my apartment and accommodated me even when she didn't have to. Although I did have a few issues with a leak in my bathroom, the maintenance director personally called me to address the problem. Overall, a great place to rent from!

I moved into my apartment in July of 2016 and when my lease was up in July of 2017, I signed for another year without hesitation. Berg management has been very fair and cooperative with me thus far, and they have been quick with me to correct issues. One major thing I would like to mention was that my bathtub developed a leak and was dripping down to the second floor.

I expected them to patch the leak and call it a day, but they went above and beyond and gave me a brand new bathtub. When I saw all the negative feedback on here, I wanted to take the time to voice that this is not as bad of a company as these reviews say.

The worst management EVER. i CAN'T wait until my lease is up with them. They are very unprofessional and inconsiderate. They don't handle issues in a timely manner. I'm currently pregnant and the heat in my apartment only works in certain areas. My hot water in the bathroom tub doesn't get hot. I wish i could have seen these reviews and talk to previous tenants before i rented with this company.

All they care about is you paying them on time. They don't care about anything else. DO NOT rent with them. I would never refer anyone to them unless they get better management cause every last one of them is rude and unprofessional. But i will be doing some research to see what can be done about this cause quite frankly I'm not paying rent for my request to go unresolved. To be in a cold apartment with no heat, hot water, and broken locks. So if i need to contact the better business Bureau or a city inspector I will.

At first I thought they were really nice and efficient. Obviously it was because they wanted to rent the unit. Then everything got started and I realized the reality. When I moved in I found too many details in the apartment. First of all, it has a strong dog and cat smell all around which is awful cause I don't even have a pet and I had to stand it. Also, during winter the heat in the bathroom never worked and sometimes in the kitchen or bedroom neither did.

They have a mess with the heat cause sometimes it was way too hot and sometimes way too cold and I couldn't control it. I was pregnant and I got sick too many times because of that. And you know what? I totally understand that nothing has to be perfect, we all make mistakes, but every time I claim for it to be fixed they forgot to be efficient and nice.

After winter I called them to fix the screens of the Windows (some of them with holes, some of them uneven and don't cover at all) they did not pay attention to my concern, and when they did they recommend me to put some tape (that's no a way to fix problems to me) and since it wasn't my fault they have to be responsible for it, but they never try to fix it. Plus, I got a lot ants in my apartment because of a infested tree too close to my unit.

I was so worry because I have a baby and I found some ants in his bassinet. It was driving me crazy and they didn't take it seriously. They told me they were going to cut the tree and they never did. I had to buy some stuff to take care of it by myself. So they failed again. Today they are working on something related to plumbing and they turn water off, but they never give a notification so it took me out of base.

No water for some waters but they didn't care to give a notification. That's how it works with them. This apartment sucks, it has so many details that need to be fixed, and I wish someone could it told me before I moved in. Moreover, these people look like they just care about you paying on time and that's it. If you are concerning about things too much they won't be happy.

We already give our notice and we're leaving this place and hopefully don't renting with berg management again. Won't recommend it AT ALL. If you are like us and you don't like to get stressful don't do ever do business with them. I don't usually do reviews like this, but I'm really unhappy and I needed to take it out.
