MTD Property Management

MTD is an awesome landlord. Everyone I worked with was extremely nice. Maintenance requests are handled extremely fast and without question. There was no security deposit on move in and they're extremely considerate with late fee forgiveness if you have a history of being a good tenant. One of the best landlords I've worked with, would happily lease with them again.

'All that glitters is not gold' If you care about your health or safety don't rent at 7600 N. Sheridan. Newly " remodeled " apartments but be prepared to have a difficult time with management. From the first day I pick up the keys everything started to go downhill. I had my furniture ready to move in but the back door was blocked by piles of trash and it took almost a week for management to respond and get it cleaned.

The shower water smelled like straight sewage and was pretty sickening. The bathroom sink flooded my whole bathroom floor. The neighbors smoked heavily even though it's a "non - smoking" building. The smoke steeped into my apartment and made it difficult to breathe or even been in the building most nights. My furniture and clothes started to reek of cigarettes.

The building manager was helpful, but the actual property managers continued to tell me about my own experience. Quick to get you in the door, slow to respond after you sign the dotted line. I put in my 60 day notice less then 60 days of me moving in. I'm only writing this review to help someone not have to experience what I went through.

MTD has been the best company I've rented from in Chicago. The apartment was in great condition when we moved in, the staff has always been helpful and prompt with their responses, and maintenance is super fast. I've lived in this apartment for 2 years, and I would definitely rent from MTD again.

This is the only management company I've dealt with, other rentals have been through private owners. With that said, I've lived in my apartment for little over 3 years and MTD has always provided safe accommodations and have always been very responsive in answering any requests that have come up. Michael and the rest of MTD are always respectful and able to help explain things in very simple and easy to understand ways. If you're searching for a place to rest your head, I recommend adding MTD to the list of potential companies to speak with!

MTD (especially Donna, Admir, and Bill) took great care of me for 10 years as a tenant! And I never have seen such fast, attentive maintenance service any other place. These are great folks with some lovely properties!

I've had an excellent experience with MTD since I first contacted them. When I was looking for an apartment, they were extremely responsive to my questions about properties and provided pictures and videos upon request. Their professionalism and responsiveness were all the more clear compared to other property management places I tried to contact.

Since moving in, I've continually been impressed at how quickly maintenance issues are addressed and their thoroughness with resolving these issues (both big and small). They truly go out of their way to help their residents. I'd highly recommend finding a property with MTD!

I currently am in a lease for a "two bedroom" I discovered is legally only a one bedroom. Prices are very high for what you get; apartment is old, incredibly small (I leased off photos, will never do again) I had to request doors be installed on the bedrooms, and the property manager is generally rude. The bathroom is so small you cannot turn around.

Parking is terrible, stairwells are not heated, and the basement where laundry is located would be an excellent setting for a horror movie. I would not recommend leasing from this business.

I lived in one of their apartment for 3 years. I don't have anything bad to say about MTD. Every time I had a maintenance order, it would be answered withing 24 hours. All their technicians are professional and respectful of your apartment. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an apartment in the Chicagoland area.

I have been renting with MTD Property Management for over 5 years. The team is friendly, polite, and responsive to maintenance requests. Andy does a great job, is so helpful and super friendly! The building is clean and well maintained. I have really enjoyed living here over all these years.

I lived in an MTD Property for over 3 years, and had a great experience overall! They were always prompt in response and very flexible when it came to unconventional move ins/move outs. I only took one star off because of some experiences I had with the maintenance - I had a minor leak that required constant care rather than the maintenance fixing the leak source. However, this didn't affect my living/enjoyment of the apartment. Overall, would recommend!

Highly recommend! MTD manages my Roger's Park property and have significantly increased the value of my investment since I hired them. Professional, experienced, and courteous staff who always address my tenant's maintenance issues promptly. Their state of the art software allows me 24 hour access to my property's financial information.

I have been living at a property managed by Mtd for almost a year now and they have been absolutely great to work with. The portal is easy to use to report maintenance issues/ make payments and the response time for any questions has been wonderful. Every single issue (of which there have been very few) has been taken care of in quick professional manner. I have lived in five apartments since moving to Chicago and these guys are by far the best!
