She has actively leased and managed Philadelphia Real Estate since she founded the company in 1986. Shortly after forming the business, her husband joined her to help oversee the operations. One word: RUN! I've lived many places and this has been by far the worst leasing office/landlord I've ever had. I went over a month with a broken toilet. I spent about half of my year and a half lease with a broken dishwasher. Even now the dishwasher they installed completely wrong. Creatures were living in the walls when I moved in. The floors were scratched, uneven, water damaged, etc. (still are).
The walls were covered in blemishes that were painted over with one very thin coat of paint. Meaning I can see the problem but can't clean it. I reported all of the issues and only a fraction of them ever got fixed. To get anything done you have to bombard with maintenance requests and threaten them. They made me choose between a 6 month of 18 month lease. 6 months before my 18 month lease ended they made me decide if I wanted to renew or not and immediately started showing the house repeatedly.
Mind you this is SIX months before my lease was up. I have 2 dogs and baby so it's super inconvenient having strangers in my home especially considering my infant can't get vaccinated against Covid. They will tell me a time for the showing and then show up an hour later than they stated. When I moved in there was a rotting dresser in the backyard along with tons of garbage and broken glass in the yard and the basement.
They left the for rent sign and post out front so people would often approach my house thinking it was vacant. There is a second for rent sign and post still in my backyard rotting to this day. They said it came with a ring camera and security system but didn't give me the passcode for either so I was never able to use them. There was no fire extinguisher no co2 detector.
Their own contractor told me he'd never seen a bathroom so poorly remodeled. The shower handle still falls off every-time I use it. There is black mold because they didn't properly caulk the bathroom. My closet door was never attached, took me months to get them to fix it but then they never put a handle on it. The windows and the ceiling leak every time it rains.
I would guarantee this house is a danger to live in and is NOT up to code. I will be reporting it to the city. This review doesn't use my real name for my own protection but I implore you, do not rent from this company. Especially if you have a family to protect.

Gabe and Christian exceeded my expectations when helping me/answering all of my questions during my search for an apartment. They kept me in the loop through the entire process and made me feel at ease. They have been so attentive, reliable, and professional with how they handled everything. New Age Realty has been great to me especially since it's only been a little over a year of me renting one of their properties. I remember scheduling for my current place being so simple and Bob was wonderful walking my partner and I through the space. When I was looking at apartments for the first time back in 2020, I was nervous about ending up with a place where my landlord and realty group would be terrible.
I've heard so many horror stories. New Age Realty Group and my landlord have been an absolute pleasure and I am thankful to say I cannot relate to the horror stories I've heard. I haven't had any issues and hope that my next spot will be with them again.

I hire them to manage a few different properties I own and they do a reasonable job of it. For my properties, the requests for maintenance seem to be handled in a timely manner based on the reports I receive every month. I've sold a couple of properties with them as my agent, and they do fine there as well. One property suffered unexpected damage to the ceiling and floor after the contract for the sale was signed, due to a leak from a different unit above in the same building.
New Age was able to promptly send their maintenance personnel to repair the damages, which occurred through no fault of theirs, to the buyer's satisfaction and the sale proceeded smoothly. I was happy with how they handled the issue, since the damage was severe and they fixed it under a very tight time frame. Every time I have a concern of some sort, if I email them, I'll get a response and more importantly, have the issue resolved. Overall I would recommend them as both a property manager and landlord.

Website is very easy to navigate. The tenant portal is great feature, though the only option to leave a message is through the maintenance tab, even if what you're attempting to report doesn't have anything to do with repairs. The actual brick-and-mortar location is brilliantly designed, and the actual staff is extremely courteous and helpful.

Our realtor - Jan Watson - was personable, professional, honorable, and very pleasant to deal with. We were arriving from out of town and needed to see a number of condos in a very short time. Jan had everything organized, and in an efficient way. Jan showed us condos in buildings that reflected what we had asked for, and within our budget. He was efficient with all information, and the closing went well. We couldn't be happier with his professionalism!

I've been with New Age Realty since last year after they took over my old management company. So far it's been pretty good. They keep up communication pretty well through the tenant portal and what I really love is that they've been excellent at fulfilling my maintenance orders no matter how small or big. Also they were very open to receiving assistance that I was seeking for help during Covid-19 and with all the financial strains. I appreciate that too.

New Age Realty Group has been my real estate agency of choice since 2008. Over the years, the staff has been very responsive to my needs in that the response time to my concerns and questions has been very quick. They notify me promptly when tenants have issues and they handle the issues promptly as well if I can't get someone out there. They also make recommendations when certain issues arise so I can choose which option to pick.
I love their reliability and responsiveness! Additionally, they do a nice job finding great tenants and collecting the rent on time. Occasionally we get a bad tenant but that is to be expected. Great company to manage your real estate business if you need one.

I'm a current tenant. Early on in the rental process when I was dropping off my deposit at the New Age office, I sat for a few minutes as someone processed my deposit. In front of me was a (grown adult) female employee who began complaining to a coworker, making blanket statements about the incompetency of college-age adult renters-as I, a college-age adult renter, sat three feet away.
Not a good look in general, ever, but especially when a new tenant is standing in the same small reception room with nearly $1000 cash for a rental deposit. On a separate occasion, I spoke to the same woman briefly on the phone who had a significant attitude with me for no discernible reason. I thought maybe these instances were one offs, but if you read through the other reviews here it seems that is unfortunately not the case.

The worst management company I've ever dealt with. I've submitted repairs that have never been responded to despite multiple attempts at resolution. Staff are rude, unhelpful and unprofessional. The only time I get anything resolved is when I go directly through the landlord and I make sure everyone in my building has their email addresses because New Age is the worst and literally never fixes anything.
It's honestly absurd how awful this company is. My rent increases every single year and yet no changes, improvements or basic repairs are tended to. And to the New Age person who responds to me, asking me to email them with my complaints privately, it's already been done. You can email me when you are ready to send someone from maintenance. I've emailed Eric multiple times about this.
Wish I could give 0 stars but 1 star for the fact that I'm sure all of the people that work there are grossly mistreated and underpaid or generally miserable as I can't see why else tenants would be treated so terribly. I love the location of my building and honestly the rent is pretty reasonable for the area. Maddie at the front desk has been especially helpful throughout the process of securing the place as well as handling any issues I've had. Dimitra, the facilities manager has been proactive in making sure things get done. Although the facilities people do have a bit of a delay completing things, they do really great work.

My daughter took possession of the apartment yesteray and the apartment is a complete disaster. They claimed the apartment was cleaned and ready to live in. The pics tell a different story. We have to hire cleaners and with it being 3 day weekend we couldn't get anyone until next Wednesday. On top of paying for the cleaners she has to pay rent for 7 days and not able to move it. Overall a very stressful experience.
