Wahl and since then the company has grown and diversified to manage all aspects of real estate management including commercial office buildings, industrial properties, shopping centers and retail outlets, apartment complexes, homeowner associations and other common interest developments.

Wahl & Company distinguishes itself from the competition by recognizing and treating property as an asset. Wahl & Company manages all types of residential investment property from single family homes to apartment buildings to single condominium units. Wahl & Company manages properties from an owner's perspective so we treat the property as if it were our own. We listen to our clients to hear what their specific needs and goals are and then we customize a management plan to suit their needs and work towards accomplishing those goals.
Our Homeowner association division works closely with the Board of Directors to make sure the building is being maintained properly, that the association is operating in a legal manner and that the interest of the association is being protected from exposure. Oversee upkeep, maintenance, and management of the common areas and the equipment of the building.
The Wahl & Company building maintenance associates work diligently to make certain your property is maintained properly with care and attention to detail. Strict supervision of building repairs and routine building maintenance items along with regular inspections of your building systems result in a building that runs smoothly and efficiently.

Thom Chinn is a very confrontational property manager, very slow to response to email requests, and phone communication. The worst thing is that he uses scare tactics like calling the police or to take you to court with any issue even if it is small, no ability or desire to resolve issues. Do not pay this man to manage your property, money will be wasted on sub-mediocre service.

I've had the pleasure of working with Russ Wahl on a number of commercial properties in The Bay Area and I can't rate him or his firm highly enough. Russ is a pleasure to deal with and incredibly knowledgeable on all matters related to commercial property management. He is very detail orientated, organized and efficient and has decades of experience behind him.
Before launching my own commercial real estate firm, I worked in property management for a couple of years and I know the skill set you need to truly manage a building properly and to maximize the asset and Russ understands this. I've dealt with a number of property management companies in San Francisco and I've yet to come across one in the same league as Wahl and Co. Russ has an excellent team and I've really been really pleased with my experiences with the firm.
He currently manages a building for a client of mine in Jackson Square and within a few months of working on the property, he has rectified all the maintenance issues and has the property running smoothly. My client is thrilled to finally have the building running property and in having happy tenants! Russ is a true gentleman with a great work ethic and I'd recommend him highly to manage any type of commercial building from warehouses, to small office buildings to highrises.
He can also manage residential properties and can handle large portfolios. He uses the the same real estate software as the big national firms and as an owner, you'll be thrilled with the analysis and reports Russ can prepare.

As Vendor who deals with many property managers I have only high remarks for Thom Chinn at Wahl & Company. He is direct, very detailed, returns calls very fast and always has the best interests of the properties he manages at heart. When we are doing work on his properties he is on site checking and inspecting the work we are doing. I wish all the property managers I deal with were half as good
