Hettig Management

Hetting Management Company has allowed the Assistant Manager with Magnolia Estates to finally show her true colors. My mother has lived on this property for seven years and has virtually no issues until it was time for my mother to accept her Housing Voucher with strict orders to move asap in the only unit left in a building with an elevator, due to my mom's inability to climb stairs.

After kindly apologizing to Ms. Jerri, the Assistant Manager, said that my mother will be leaving the property in a week. This news to Ms. Jerri caused extreme vocal aggression by first asking me if we were going to pay rent? I said no, because we couldn't afford the moving costs. However, we would handle it at a later time. Ms. Jerri indicated that she was going to file eviction on my mother on the 10th, also call the Housing Authority and report my mother for not giving a thirty day notice, not paying her rent, and filing an eviction on her which can cause her to lose her Housing Benefits and not have anywhere the live.

It is now my impression that Ms. Jerri's intentions toward the elderly and the retired community is unhealthy and is not in the best interest of the community. Hettig Management Corporation if this is the kind of employee you want working for your company and on the property of the elderly, then it is my responsibility to let the community know that If you have plans to stay at Magnolia Estates, you better have a tough exterior because the verbal aggression is real.

They will talk to you like trash and will go home and sleep just fine. And will wait until the next day to do it again. If you live here, deal with management as least as possible or you will leave with a nervous condition or a heart attack. Kind Regards,

I worked at Hettig for 7 years and as a Manager. The company is professional and personable. Employees that leave the company always goes back. The company cares about it's employees and works hard to give the residents a great place to call home.

Great professional management! I've lived on one of their properties for almost 9 years I raised my daughter there I cannot express how GREAT this management team is & I really enjoyed living in their community I would still be there if I didn't buy a home Thank you Hettig for the peace of mind & great management from the property itself to the corporate office! I will forever recommend your properties to everyone!

This place CAN get lower than 1 star. Dont waste your time with the properties this company manages. You will be sorry. And yes I pay my rent in full and on time. All of the time! That will not matter to them.

The whole management system is full of liars and crooks! They own multiple housing communities in low income neighborhoods and treat their residents bad. They do not have a way to reach their management company.
