I had my gallbladder removed last week. I was so nervous (first surgery). Nurse Pat was so kind and helpful from beginning to end! Doctor Blakslee was fantastic couldn't ask for a better doctor. He answered all my question and was very caring. The anesthesiologist DR. Edwards was also amazing and hilarious. I quickly forgot how nervous I was and put my escape plan to rest.

The team had me laughing before going under. I woke up to Pat and was smiling still! I will be forever grateful for the way I was treated. I was sent home with all the information needed for recovery. Pat went through all the information before and after my surgery. I had a nurse call me today to check in. Thank you to the hard working staff at KDH. You have no idea how much your kindness, professionalism and amazing personalities helped me through one of scariest times in my life.

Always a good experience coming to this hospital. They have a competent and lovely staff. Too bad public health has ridiculous vaccine policies lately though. Thank you for your help when we came in!

Great hospital for surgury Horrible for ER. The ER staff are either not around, like 1 doctor and not nurse practictioners available else something else is wrong! I felt like a third world country there. Everyone says for ER, go somewhere else if they have more then 3 people there. Everyone says for ER, go somewhere else. I agree. A disgrace for a once good ER hospital! These people are well paid but just cannot follow a decent process or sense of ethics. They gave up maybe? I do not know.

Went to ER knowing my C. Difficile bacteria infection was causing major diarrhea for 3 days with fever and bloat. They had treated me for it before so had it on record that I carried the C D bacteria for life and would have flareups. They had me do a urine test and I told them a stool test was needed. Well almost 5 hours later and 7 patients with no visible issues later, guess what, They could not do anything because they needed a stool test?

I left more sick then when I arrived many hours before. No meds, no pain killers, just an offer to have me sleep over night if I wanted. Okay service at the front and sorta nice thou they laughed loudly at a woman with no hearing aid a few times. The back rooms nurse and doctor were okay but to little to late and not able to help. I walked out after I asked if they would treat me and they said maybe tomorrow.

So bad fever, sick as a dog, dehydrated and a killer bacteria in me and I had to leave due to know actual service! Hoping Winchester hospitals ER gets their funding increased over kemptville for sure.

I had day surgery the other day. The staff were super friendly. Tara was of the nurses there and she was so comforting and made time for patients despite the busy day! Thank you

The lady that greets you upon arrival, whom does the Covid screening was absolutely awful. She was very sweet to the people whom she seemed to know but most of us she was disgustingly rude. A women asked for a trash can for her husband to get sick into it and she gave her such a hard time for asking, it was terrible to listen to. She sat there on here phone the majority of the time when she wasn't being rude to the patients.

When a co worker came and asked if she had cleaned any of the seats. She claimed she didn't have time because she was too busy, meanwhile all she did was sit on her butt, texting when she wasn't being rude to the sick patients. She should be fired. I'm disgusted with the way she treating other human beings. I believe her name was Chrissy. Larger women, short, dark brown hair with a very short cut.

Very unhappy with the emergency service I received for my 2 year old. She hurt her arm/shoulder and we went in because I thought it was broken. They did xrays and sent us on our way.saying she'll be sore. Fast forward to a week later and she's still in pain. Called my doctor only to find out they never even took an xray or her collarbone. It's broken and we now have to take her the CHEO. Thanks so much kemptville hospital. I've heard from many ppl to stay away from this hospital and from now on I will. I had to put one star or I couldn't post this review.

Had a surgery done today at the day surgery unit in KDH. Professional, knowledgeable, hard-working staff and nurses. From the very beginning they explain and introduce clearly to the end in understandable expressions. Dr. Zolfaghari and the anesthesiologist are just wonderful people and professionals in their field. In our time, I think it is very important to get and trust yourself in such hands. Happy Easter everyone at KDH and many thanks.

This is my second procedure at the KDH. Both turned out to be excellent experience. At the Surgery block, the nurses were just great. They were kind and yet, very professional. Dr. Davison was reassuring and down to business. I had many tests done over time, and I can personally say that the entire region is truely lucky to have such a great hospital any it's staff.

We should be celebrating to have such dedicated people to care about our health. I know my review may seem like to good to be true, however for an old guy like me to be treated this good, I have to say thank you aloud.

Girlfriend went in with a wrist injury. Was ridiculed by the triage nurse for how the injury occured and after 5 hours was told that her x-ray was inconclusive and to go to her family doctor in ten days. Was given a prescription for a splint as the doctor say next to a bunch of available splints. Went to Winchester the next day and she was seen within 2 hours, was diagnosed with a broken bone in her hand and given a halfcast and splint on the spot! Very disappointing experience
