Critical: Professionalism These people are completely unprofessional. I have been calling for a month about an application and they either do not pick up, or they hang up on me while I'm talking to them. Officially the WORST customer service I have ever received! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!

Giving one star is too much for these people. The only time you can get ahold of them is when THEY want to talk to you. Good luck getting ahold of them because you need something. No return emails or calls for MONTHS. Don't do business with these people. You could get a kindergartner to do a better job than them.

As a property owner, I realized 50% or less of total rents collected through "repair costs" that occurred every month. I was helping my elderly father manage the relationship with Guy Lloyd. They were disrespectful, combative and misleading st best. Terribly disappointing that there are people like this in the world that take advantage of property owners. Find another property management company.

I had no problem paying my rent. The problem started when I asked to come and board of the porch because a skunk was living under my porch and my whole house smelled of skunk for a whole two months. I had to pay over 100 dollars to have someone come out each week and check his traps. I called and called they didn't come out until two months after I decided to move out and I decided to not pay rent anymore. Now don't get me wrong it okay until it comes to fixing something for you. I even had mice that I had to take care of myself.

My husband and I rented a property through Guy Lloyd Property Management. We toured a house we were interested in back in June 2017. The house had garbage everywhere as well as issues with the property. We did somehow fall in love with the house and we were promised all issues including broken glass, broken fence, leaking roof, garbage, holes in the walls, as well as broken tile in the bathroom would be fixed BEFORE we move in.
Mind you we moved in a month later, July 14 2017. They had a whole month to fix issues. When we moved in issues were not fixed. Kelly, the manager at Guy Lloyd, said she would send maintenance to fix the issues that were not done when we moved in. The house was not clean. The yard was horrible, broken glass in the backyard and driveway that I had to clean up so my kids would not get cut.
There were still broken windows we numerously told Guy Lloyd about that were in reach of children. After living at the property for about a week we noticed more concerns. The bath tub and toilet were receding through the bathroom floor, there was a major hole in my daughters closet where the wall was literally crumbling away. Again Kelly promised maintenance was going to fix the issues.
Maintenance finally called to schedule an appointment with my husband and I. After he came in and saw the damages he left and said he need to get approval to make the fixes and would be in touch with us that night. He called the next day saying the fixes were DENIED because the fixes were too costly. He started talking more to my husband and said that we needed to move the house was crumbling to the foundation.
After they talked for awhile he told my husband how he is quitting working for Guy Lloyd because he is not going to work for people like that. Another two weeks went by before the new maintenance guy called us to set up an appointment which he never showed up to! The following day my husband and I were both at work when he called saying he was sitting outside of our house, so we had to leave work to get there.
He came in and looked around and took pictures. Before he left he said he would send maintenance out the following Monday. Again they never showed up and did not call. My husband called Stacy H. at the health department and Dan K. a city building inspector and made a report with both agencies. Stacy discovered the house was worse off then what we even knew and said the house is basically uninhabitable.
My husband and I decided since Guy Lloyd was not fixing anything, which they have already had since June to do, that we would be moving out with our two children. The health department said Guy Lloyd would not be able to rent that house out after we move because the living conditions. After we moved out we received a letter in the mail saying we owe them $9320.34 for damages and 10 months of rent! Do not ever go through this company! the make false promises, lie, and cheat people!

THIS COMPANY IS NOT TRUSTWORTHY, I PUT IN A APPLICATION AND WAITED TWO WEEKS FOR A RESPONSE, I CALLED AND ASKED WHAT WAS GOING ON THEY SAID MY LAST LANDLORD HAD NOT CALLED, WELL WHEN SHE DID THEY TOLD HER I GOT DENIED THE DAY I APPLIED BECAUSE OF A EVICTION IN 2015,S O THEY DIDN'T NEED HER REFERENCE, WHICH I WAS UNDER HER SINCE 2014 UP UNTIL NOW, I CALLED TO FIND OUT WHY THEY WOULD LIE THE WAY THEY DID AND THEY TRIED TO EXPLAIN THAT ANOTHER PERSON WITH MY SAME FIRST AND LAST NAME WAS MIXED UP IN MY "files"AND THAT I COULD HAVE MY LANDLORD CALL BACK, THEY ONLY ADMITTED TO SPEAKING WITH HER AFTER I MENTIONED IT, I DON'T KNOW WHY THIS HAPPENED BUT ALL I WOULD SAY TO THEM IS DON'T JUDGE SOMEONE BY THEIR RACE, SEXUALITY, OR BELIEFS BECAUSE WE ARE NOT THE SAME. SHAME ON YOU TO COMMIT SLANDER BECAUSE OF ASSUMPTIONS. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL.

This is the worst company you could ever rent a home true. Dont go true all the truble i have been going true. From the first day i got this place, i have been having problem. First the house was not ready like promise. I was calling the company for ever to get fire alarms on they did not show up to after a month. Also when ever you need maintenance they dont show up. Had to frezz for two days with my kids because no one would come to fix the heater.
Not to mention the first 2 month me and my kids would wake up to bugs bite. It was hell to sleep in that house. All this time the company said they had clean the bedroom rugs they did not. I had to get my rugs clean out my self.
