Scam artist is the word I'd like to use. don't waste your time or money! Applied but they don't tell you that they allow multitudes of other people to apply at the same time so they can collect on the application fees. They also told me I needed a guarantor because apparently all my bank statements, credit checks, taxes etc were not enough.
So I had to pay another fee for that. I called a few days later to ask about the status of the application and they responded to me as if the news of someone else being approved was old news. They never told me. Super condescending.

Ray Roberts Realty is a good management company. They are responsive to tenents maintenance requests. Recently after a power outage, I lost power just to my hot water tank as did the other tenents. Jasenka was very diligent in working with the power company and others to ensure we got hot water back on. She didn't accept that "we working" on it. She ensured it was done.

I had nothing but a great experience with this company. All of my repairs got dealt with within a few days of reporting and every contact from me was responded towithin 24 hours for an update. Thank you guys! (to those who were denied. maybe YOU are the issue!) My application process was extremely smooth and professional.) My only potential negative comment was at the apartment could've been a little cleaner upon move-in, but that would be nitpicking. Thank you for 15 months of living!

Extremely rude staff/management. When I asked to speak to management about the way I was being spoke to, I realized they are family members, which I think is great, but has proven to eliminate accountability in terms of customer service. They did not paint or replace the carpet before I moved in, and when a wet, moldy spot started appearing the first week I moved in, they told me it was too late, that "I already signed." Then after multiple months/phone calls/reviewing of my renter rights, they finally agreed to replace the carpet, but only one section.
Some time later, one of the staff came to show another apartment, the prospective renters asked me how I liked it, I said I love it, just make sure you check the condition before you sign, and I got a phone call later that day from Mark (quite literally) screaming at me, illegally threatening eviction, telling me I was being unprofessional, which seemed ironic considering he was the one at work raising his voice to a tenant.
I left a Yelp review at the time, and they saw my name and threatened me to take it down, again threatening eviction, so I did, I did not want to risk the living situation for my family. The old oven broke, and they replaced it with a used oven that didn't close all the way, and then replaced it with a third used oven that was leaking gas. I was harassed to clean up the trash left on my side yard that was left there by the owner who was flipping one of the units into an Air BnB, and was actually told "you didn't listen when we asked you to clean up the trash". This is only to name a few. I understand limiting expenses for homeowners, however, the treatment was hostile and extremely unprofessional.

They are the worst property management we have dealt with, the first time we applied through them I don't think they even reviewed our application but did charge us the application fees and dinged our credit history, the second time they kept us hanging for an entire week and rejected us because they wanted our employers to get back to them and tell them we actually have a job, pay stubs don't matter.
They processed multiple application and kept us bothering for more and more information. Finally we got denied because our employer didn't get back to them. Like the employers have all the time in the world to give the first priority to Ray Roberts. Made so many calls to them gave them all the information. Nothing made a difference to them. There was absolutely no reason for them to deny us but they found something. My suggestion to them is don't check anyone's credit history if you are not going to consider them

The single worst experience I have ever had with a realty company when applying for an apartment. If your're applying for an apartment through this company you should know the way they process applications: 1. Take your fee and submit your application. 2. They will begin to process multiple applications simultaneously. 3. They will attempt to call your landlord and employer. 4. Whoever gets their application approved FIRST gets their application sent to the owner.
Which means that if your current landlord or employer doesn't get back to this realty company before someone else's does, you're out $40 dollars, you've dinged your credit, and you didn't get the apartment through no fault of your own. The way this company processes applications makes ZERO sense for the property owner or the applicant. This company could have a business of just taking application fees if they wanted and likely do. NEVER use this place.

All I know for a fact. is that your security deposit is a flat fee you will NOT get back. I lived in my apartment here for 11 years. Never a day late on rent. We were quiet, cleaned up the walkways when appropriate. We tried to be excellent tenants and neighbors. They upgraded units every single time a tenant vacated that apartment. SO WHY WOULD YOU TAKE MONEY FROM MY SECURITY DEPOSIT WHEN YOURE GOING TO UPGRADE IT ANYWAY?
Its like I paid for the upgrades for the new tenant. They charged for cleaning of things that I know 100% were getting ripped out like carpet, paint, and kitchen cabinets. All of that crap was old as heck. Just shady. Also, I just bought a house. Promise you my mortgage paperwork was close in length to the lease we signed for Ray Roberts. You suck Ray Roberts Realty.

DO NOT RENT WITH THEM! Literally the worst and most unprofessional business. It has been 2 times that I have scheduled a viewing for an apartment and they just cancel and say I can't apply anymore. Without ANY notice. I sent in my application and paid the fee, and THEN they decide to tell me I can't view it anymore. An absolute joke. Worst fucking business if you can even call it that.
Not to mention everyone there is incompetent and has no idea what's going on. I doubt any of them have any knowledge in the leasing business. So unprofessional and idiotic.

I am moving into my second apartment with Ray Roberts for many reasons that can all be summed up into three words, great customer service. The two properties I have had experience with are well kept, and they are always on top of all service maintenance calls when made. They have always made every step clear & easy, while being patient with all my questions. I have greatly appreciated all they have done to keep my living space above optimum and look forward to continue renting with them

Please STEER CLEAR from this "business" Long story short, this is not my first time seeking to rent an apartment but it definitely is the first time I have such experience. Their customer service is non-existent. They have a horrible attitude and will verbally say one thing and turn around and say something else. I am so glad we will not be renting with them because if submitting an application can be SO difficult, I can imagine what being an actual tenant would be like! I'm so glad I came here and saw all the bad reviews. They are seriously HORRIBLE, contradicting and just flat out RUDE. Never again!

We had been on the lookout for an apartment for about a month, and the ones around our area of interest were not running in parallel with our needs, and wants. We activated notifications for new apartment postings for that area, so when we came across a newly posted apartment from RRR, it was definitely a blessing. From inquiring to check out the apartment within minutes of posting, to actually getting to see it in person on the first show day, and then submitting an application because we loved it at first sight, everything has gone smooth.
We must have been the first people to submit an application for that specific property, because we got a call back regarding our application within two days. I imagine they process applications based on a "first come first serve" basis, therefore, for the people stating that they take long to get back at them, or not at all, perhaps your application is not on top; and it makes sense that they will work with the applicant(s) who submitted an application first. Also, real estate business is not so easy and perfect. Maria, one of the agents at their office, is very understanding when we asked a ton of both broad and specific questions.
We moved in on September, in the midst of a world-wide pandemic, and state-wide wild fires. Daniel is a cool dude, he went over our lease agreement in detail, took our questions, and gave us another quick tour of the entire property, from the bells and whistles, to the parking, patio, laundry room, and mailbox. Also, when we submitted a maintenance order through the app, we had a qualified maintenance person at our place within the next day. Overall, our experience has been excellent, and we are grateful!

Stay away from this management service. They have terrible business practices. They get you with the newly remodeled apartments but in the end you pay for it in terrible management that only cares about the OWNER. When I requested to move out the owners requested that they called me back asking WHY I was moving. Very unnecessary and rude. I would look other places that anything with Ray Roberts.

ZERO effort to make things right or have discussions about how to move forward when things go sideways. Their tactics are to blame the tenant, become "accidentally disconnected, " and become incredibly aggressive. They must really do a lot for landlords, because from a renter's perspective, this is NO WAY to run a business.

Just a quick update to my previous review of Ray Roberts Realty and their Staff. Once again I've been impressed with the level of customer service, speed with which my needs were taken care of, friendliness of staff, and quality of their personnel's workmanship. We've had few problems since moving in last spring, however this morning I was greeted to a flood in my kitchen.
This was 4am. in the morning and by 11:30am. all the repairs had been made and everything was back in order. This level of customer commitment is rare these days and I wanted to give some credit where it was definitely due. Thanks again. K. Besig

My girlfriend and I have been living in one of their condos for nearly two years now and I have to say that it has been one of the best renting experiences of my life. Anytime I have any problem, I know that I can make a quick call to the office and that they'll send a maintenance team within the week, no matter what the problem is. The management team does a good job of screening applicants, so much so that I have ZERO complaints about my neighbors, that has never happened before in my adult life!

My roommates and I applied for an apartment through Ray Roberts Realty. After being declined, they let us know they would be mailing us our credit reports. One report was never received and the other two reports were misaddressed on the envelopes. Luckily my roommate and I received each others reports, rather than strangers. But I do wonder who received the 3rd report.
When I called to tell them what happened, they seemed barely apologetic for their mistake. I will not be applying for any other places managed by this company. They obviously don't take care when handling peoples sensitive, personal information.

Total scam artists! My roommate and I applied, after paying $60 application fees. We were contacted in the afternoon saying they received our paperwork and would get back to us. We got a call TWO hours later saying we were declined. They never even called our jobs to verify, our landlords or any references! I know we don't have much credit but they assured us prior to applying its definitely not based off our credit number. We make 4-5x the rent and we weren't approved? Get out of here! biggest waste of money with their lies
