TJM is an excellent group of people to work with - nice people and very professional. We rented a house through them for over 2 years and it was a fantastic experience! They were always very responsive any time we had a question. All the information is presented up front and clearly. We had a couple of minor issues as can happen in a home that's a few years old & they took care of things SO quickly! We couldn't be more happy with TJM!

I'm close friends with a previous tenant and they took complete advantage of his deposit. Gave him a poor make ready to move into and then charged him like it was a brand new rental when he left. The reason I am writing this review is because I find their responses to previous reviews extremely unprofessional and telling. Exposing people for having low income?
Low credit score? Publicly? It is the landlords responsibility to keep personal and credit information confidential. "We understand it can be frustrating for our applicants to hear that they did not qualify due to poor credit, insufficient income, or many other reasons that contribute to our decision. What we tell all of our applicants who failed to qualify for a property is that they (a) need to work hard to raise their credit score, (b) work to improve their on-time payments, and (c) they should apply for properties that are commensurate with their level of income" The person who made the initial review only mentioned the bad customer service they received. Note: I don't have to do business with you to bring attention to something you posted publicly. If exposing applicants private information publicly is how y'all do business, don't expect to not have any backlash.

The absolute worst people to rent from. Ladies in the office are always rude. They love to charge more for rent each year but will not upgrade anything for increased rent. And then then charge me $300 for painting over normal wear? And another $200 for cleaning over normal wear after I already spent $200 on a cleaning company to clean it. Absolutely ridiculous. Chad in maintenance is the only good thing about TJM. 10/10 do not recommend.

The worst renting experience of my life. Am currently being charged $1400 for water because of a leak in the building that I was not aware of. The office is saying that they won't cover the charge because I should of let them know about the leak THAT I WAS NOT AWARE OF AND WASN'T COMING FROM MY APARTMENT! Talked to Melissa today, who has been condescending, unprofessional, and rude my entire stay, and she hung up on me twice when I asked about update on the water situation, and said she would call the cops if I call again.
These people are the worst, DO NOT RENT FROM THEM! EDIT: I never threatened your employees? I had no idea there was a problem with the toilet until it completely exploded water all over my apartment. You moved me into a defunct apartment and you will face the legal consequences. Thanks.

TJM Realty has been really great! My family especially appreciates Melissa for going above & beyond to help resolve a plumbing situation my parents were experiencing in their rental home. She made sure it was addressed & resolved very promptly. The staff is always very friendly & always willing to help.

Don't rent from these people I would say the girls in the office are nice. Fact is they work for a nasty old hag slum lord and know it. They rented me a condo with a hVac system that was full of mold and nasty crap. When I asked for a hVac company they sent there handy man chad over who sprayed the inside of the air handler with bleach used a garden hose to wash it out all into the system.
Then turned on the blower and left it running for hours to dry it. Covering everything own with fiberglass and toxic crap made me very sick. Joan did write me a letter stating hVac systems blow out debris for two weeks after cleaning?

I completed a one year lease with TJM in Marble Falls, TX by fulfilling all the terms of the lease. My family was treated very poorly even though I paid my rent every month. Twice I paid on the 6th because of the way my payroll fell and was threatened with eviction even though I gave them notice. They office manager Michelle speaks to you in a very rude manner when your rent is on time if you have a concern.
When I moved out I had paid for my entire stay and had given notice yet the maintenance supervisor came to rush us out the day before we were to move out and before noon the day of move out. I informed her that I wanted to make sure the place was clean. I cleaned thoroughly and took pictures because I didn't trust the company yet they charged me an excess cleaning fee and trash removal.
I left the place in immaculate condition. Also, before I signed my lease I was promised that they would repair the carpet which was badly worn and had stains that they could not remove. When I asked about it after I moved in Michele said that there was nothing she could do and because I have kids she felt that it was fine. I am a law abiding citizen who pays their bills yet they treated my family like scum.
I wish I would have listened to the warnings by people within the community but felt that if I paid my rent and abided within the rules of my lease I wouldn't have any problems. However, I was treated in a disrespectful and poor manner. Additionally, I emailed the owners with my concerns and never received a response.
