Would give 0 stars if I could. They would not allow me to do a move out walk through with them and charged me an absurd amount of money for "unauthorized refurb of the sink drain" because I replaced the pipes under my kitchen sink due to a build up of mold in them that had been accumulating for years that made me extremely sick. I replaced them with better quality pipes and had no problems.

I had more than $4000 worth of items stolen (on camera) from my neighbors that they chose to rent to who broke into my car multiple times and the rental company did nothing about it. Never rent from them.

They are a horrible and very unprofessional place to rent from, they lie to you don't keep in contact with you all around horrible real-estate company would not recommend to anyone. The guy my daughter and her boyfriend dealt with think his name is Pete or Peter was nice in begging then began to ignore us not respond and lie for 2 months. From a prospective renter's perspective, I cannot speak poorly enough about the treatment we received from this property management team. We waited more than 3 weeks to hear back about our rental application. Any communication in the meanwhile was initiated on our end, as we not only wanted the house, but were also (justifiably) concerned about the hundreds of dollars in application fees we had submitted.

Upon reaching out (which we eventually did, daily), we were given answers like "we'll get right back to you, " or "before the end of the day, " and "we should have a decision by the end of the week, " -- and not ONCE did they hold to the expectations they set. One day I reached out via the text line, was told to call the office immediately, that the person handling our applications was available now.

When I called in, I was told "he hasn't been in all day." I responded "Well, that's funny, since I was just told over text he was available now." And was told "Oh. uh. right. He just left for a meeting." BLATANTLY being given the run-around. And for WHAT?! Our application, in the end, was denied for bad credit (the lowest among our applicants had a credit score at 660)(does it take 3 weeks to run a credit report, or were are applications ignored that soundly?!).

That would have been fine, and we would have merrily continued our search. had it taken a few days and not 3 weeks to receive this news. Instead, we butted right up to the end of the month on false promises/hopes, and miserable, unprofessional communication, and were forced to scramble to find alternate housing. An honest answer - even a clean rejection - would have been preferable to this mess.

The anxiety and insecurity the whole process caused us was intense. Ultimately, I know renters are forced to use whatever company has properties available, but home owners and apartment owners beware - avoid this company and their abysmal service if you have any concern for your renters and prospective renters being treated like actual human beings.

Horrible service. The maintenance teams they work with will take 3+ weeks to respond even in emergency situations. Staff is extremely sensitive to any sort of criticism towards the companies policies, and if you request a status update you'll be told you're being rude.

Our landlord recently sold to this company and they are the worst company to work with I have been trying to contact the office for a week now with no response I am considering legal action as they are changing me pet rent on my husband's service animal and they won't return my phone calls to figure this out

!SCAM ALERT! his name is Ross This guy scammed over 10 000 dollars in a real estate deal by lying and saying that the repairs that were in the the purchase agreement contract were complete. An even left the Realtors lock on the front door an it's still there 2 years later. Wouldnt remove his lock because he pocketed the funds to fix the chimmeys. I read other reviews about propertys he managed and is a slum lord! The reviews of him are horrible. Even on the BBB! BUYERS BEWARE He is a scam!

I want too say I am so blessed to have this team in our corner. In this difficult time not only did the meet expectations they exceeded them. Ross and the Office Staff AMAZING! So helpful they had to tell our family some bad news our home was going on the market but they also went above and beyond to get us into another rental seamlessly. could not be more impressed with this rental company. thank you from thr bottom of my heart.

I was so pleased to have worked with this property management company. Shelly and Jennifer were fantastic! Their while office is Great! So responsive, very informative and professional. This management company should be rated highest because they work so hard to help people and they do not discriminate. My family could not be more thankful.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Value This is a very poor property management company. Pictures will show this. They do not care about owners or tenants! Just the income they receive while letting these homes go to trash! Terrible management

Currently a tenant at one of there properties. They have been very easy to work with. While other landlords will do everything not to fix the place up, submitting a work order was easy and they fixed it right away. I pay the same place for rent as I did at other places, but I get so much more here.

Applied for a house that was available but prior to paying my money I asked if I was the first person to apply she told me yes. So paid and asked how long the process would be. The lady told me 48 hours. She also told me when asked what were disqualifications and the only thing that was stated was convictions. Knowing that I had nothing to disqualify me and that I had proper income I decided to apply.

The lady told me to go ahead and put my notice in with my apartment complex as I was trying to be responsible and do things the right way so I do. Only to receive a text that they went with another tentant. When calling to ask why I was denied with over $4000 income for a house renting for 925, the answer was simply that she didn't know and they went with the best person for the property and told me I dnt have to apply if I didn't like how they did things. well I wish I was told that before I gave them $45 because I was definitely not given the EQUAL OPPORTUNITY I was expecting.

Very poor customer service. The ppl there really dnt care. I'm pretty sure my application was never even ran as I was not even given a reason for my denial. But I know they won't give my my money back for my rental application that they probably never even ran. That's one big reason I do not like sending my id or applying face to face. I believe these ppl stopped and denied me after only seeing my identification card.

I rented from RC Schwartz for just one year. Their services and responsiveness this last year were great when I had bees nesting on my balcony, and other small issues. That is expected, but Im giving 5 stars because they really helped me out by bending their own rules a bit, and having compassion towards someone in a tough spot financially, when it came to moving. And I got my deposit back fairly and very quickly. Thank you so much!

I really have enjoyed working with RC Schwartz and associates. I have been very impressed with this property management for 2 years now. They have always, made the process of moving and renting very easy. They have also always been very the understanding and efficient. If I had questions, or concerns for any reason they were more than willing to solve the problem and assist. not only did they address any issues that I had, but they worked with me to solve them, answer any questions I may of had, and were fun to have conversations with while paying my rent.

There are worse companies out there.my experience.the deposit was high&yeah it takes a while to get stuff done.but when they do fix it they fix it right.it is apt.life isnt easy. you cant blame property manager for that.i do though wish they would clean & maintain better.they will if you just stay on them.they have ALWAYS worked with me&have been ok to me.i hope this helps.the housing market is a rolkercoaster.you cant complain about it if your not doing anything to change it.

This company is the BEST! We found our perfect home in a VERY "in demand" market. RC Schwartz had someone come out and show us the house within 48hrs of our calling them. We had paper work approved and our lease signed within a week. Jen (and the other ladies in the office) are kind, prompt and assertive in everything they do. We were moved in within a month and every single work order has already been completed by their maintenance guy.

I cannot express how pleasant our dealings have been this far. I truly appreciate them getting our family into a home and we highly recommend this Company to ANYBODY looking for a home in Spokane!

Very rude employees, unwelcoming, unprofessional and passive aggressive. I wouldn't recommend doing business with them. It would be good to take your business elsewhere.

I don't recommend anyone to rent from this company. They have very rude and unprofessional employees. My boyfriend and I are renting from this company and we have requested MULTIPLE times by phone and by email for repairs to be done to this house we are renting and so far they have only come out to do the simple repairs in which they just half assed the repairs.

When we moved in the carpet in this house and still continues to be disgusting. No matter how many times we vacuum the amount of hair and dust we dump from the vacuum is gross. We asked for our porch light to be fixed so they bought a 4 dollar light at Walmart, installed it and now the light stays on day and night without being able to turn it off during the day. Are you paying our electricity bill R.C Schwartz?

That goes for the garage light and the porch light. So both stay on 24/7. I went in to the location to ask the repair lady "lorrie" what we can do to get repairs done at the house we are renting from them and all I got was "I'll see what I can do". Called today to ask for un update on the repairs and all I got was attitude from Lorrie and no time frame on when things would be fixed.

I also asked for our water heater to be turned up because the water only stays hot in the shower for about 5-7 min and she said "by law they can't turn it up" even though when we first moved in we were told that if we needed the water heater turned up not to attempt it ourselves that they would come out to do it. So what's the correct info here?

This is just the surface of the problems. At this point I think there is further action we need to take because this rental company is refusing to repair pretty much anything. We are renting these things should not have to cost us anything to repair. If anyone has any recommendations or someone I can contact please send me a message. We just moved from a different state so I'm not sure what the rental laws consist of.

This is the worst Rental company I have ever dealt with. Nepotism is rampant, they don't fix anything on time. As soon as your lease is over they raise the rent. We hade a 1 year lease and during the first year, they stopped doing the lawn, then raised the rent now we have to pay for the garbage! There excuses was there were new owners! So I guess the lease didn't matter.

Stay completely away from them, they never follow through. We had to move because our neighbor upstairs had friends that were very loud and then I hid to call the cops, because of the domestic violence and break-in. I had enough, tired of the lies and mistreatment.

If you own rental property, stay away. You will pay them to do nothing for you except deposit the rent checks and take their cut. They act as a middle man to pass all the property management work to you saying that it's your property and your responsibly. They will ignore your rent increase terms and negotiate lower without telling you. They will then say that they "saved" you from the tenant leaving. - unresponsive - ignores your terms - slow - elusive - makes excuses - refuses accountability Find another property manager who will do what they are paid to do - manage your property. Using this "service" is actually worse than just doing it yourself.

I began renting from RC Schwartz & Associates about five years ago when I first moved to Spokane. At the time I was looking for an affordable apartment that was close to school. RC Schwartz was helpful in showing me units until I found one that would fit my budget. I would often drop my rent by in person to the friendly staff at RC Schwartz & Associates on my way to school and save a stamp!

A year later and newly employed, I again was in search of rental but this time for a house. I fell in love with the third rental house that I was shown to me by RC Schwartz & Associates. The price was just right, the location was close to my new job, and the house had been well maintained and was very clean! In the four years of living at this house I did have a couple of small appliance issues (just normal ware and tare) but I immediately contacted RC Schwartz & Associates and all maintenance issues were addressed and taken care of in a timely manner. Unfortunately, I am moving to Moscow with my boyfriend (for his job) where I hope to find a landlord and property management company as respectful, honest, and helpful as RC Schwartz & Associates has been. I HIGHLY recommend RC Schwartz & Associates!

This company is more efficient than some for property owners, however they treat tenants poorly and make them feel uncomfortable for being lower income.
