I could place zero stars if I could. They want to charge late fees when they send first notices and can't won't provide information on communties they "manage" more like steal from.

Terrible customer service. They are not responsive and the community manager continually "slow rolls" action on fixes unless it's a "critical" issue. For over two years now I, and my immediate neighbors, have been requesting assistance from the HOA to re-sod our back yard area which is 90% dirt. This causes a muddy and unusable area. About a year and half ago there was an attempt to re-seed it, but it failed. Starting 6 months ago I've been trying to reach out to the community manager to again address the issue and I've received absolutely no response.

I've sent several emails and called. I know everyone has been out of sorts with Covid over the last year, but no responses is unacceptable. After reviewing the covenants, it's clear that grass is covered (and she agrees as does the HOA board). I couldn't be more displeased with their poor communication and inability to resolve issues that are clearly within the bylaws and covenants of the community.

This company is horribly mismanaged. They will only collect monthly fees and will refuse to effectively manage their properties. The siding on my condo was leaking by my attic vent and instead of using the right materials to replace it they just boarded it up which made a laundry list of proplems including mold and excessive heat as well moisture in my home, making me sick.

I even had my doctor write them a letter explaining that I am allergic to mold and this is exacerbating my asthma condition and yet they have still done nothing to fix the damages that they caused. If you are thinking of using this company or utilizing any properties managed by this company, run!

First, let me admit I am woefully behind in my regime payments. I'm a small business owner who's currently struggling, really struggling, and Ravenel and Associates has made a tricky situation increasingly tough. With a goal to catch up with my HOA, I recently secured a tenant for a property I own on East Bay that Ravenel and Associates manages. Covid-19 made it impossible for the tenant to open in April, and to be clear, she isn't yet paying rent, though she has made a dent in the security deposit and has gone about painting and fixing the place up.

The issue is that, while they served as project managers to replace the building's roof, Ravenel and Associates removed and then failed to replace my a/c's condenser. To be clear, Ravenel and Associates emailed all of the owners with a list of questionable units; since my unit wasn't listed, I didn't think much about it. It was only after the fact they thought to "alert" me my unit wasn't functioning, even though the tenant and two listing real estate agents, and I attest it was; also, as it happens, a friend added coolant this past summer and affirms that while he can't be sure, he didn't think my unit was, at most, maybe eight years old (and yes, with the salt water nearby, it might have needed to be replaced sooner than most; that said, as the person who owns it, it was my decision to make).

If there's a funny side to all of this it's that they've told me they can't recall/can't be certain which unit was mine, not specifically, and yet they're very certain mine wasn't working. They made a big show of the fact two of my neighbours' units were from 1985. All too conveniently, they also offered the phone number of their contractor. Gaslighting is one thing -- wantonly throwing out someone else's property is another, but completely ignoring my phone calls and emails to find a resolution, or at the very least, simply admitting a mistake was made and then sitting down to figure out how we might move forward. leaves me speechless.

I do not recommend this company: They do not help with the enforcement of the bylaws of the community. They don't due their diligence and do not have any interest on apply the rules creating caos between the homeowners.

I have served as a building enclosure engineer for a condominium in Kiawah Island and have worked with the property management firm, Ravenel Associates, for over 12 years. Having worked with many management firms over my 20+ year career, I have found the staff at Ravenel to be more courteous, professional, and responsive than most any other that I have worked with.
