Do NOT move in The Sawyer Apartments on Sussex Ave. They are ok looking units but the walls are hollow you can Literally hear your Neighbor on a ph call as if you were in the same apartment. There Tv, Radio u can hear clear as day. Then they raise the rent 70 dollars and it wasn't worth it. Also they DO NOT keep the building clean. Believe me when I say just keep looking because you will be moving after a year.

Just a poor experience all around. After ignoring us they called and said the dog we included in our application wouldn't work. The property was listed as dogs being okay with a deposit. When we asked if they had any other properties that we could use our application for, we were told "No, we don't." Not sure what the real reason was, maybe my GF was a little too Hispanic.

Realtor said that they would work with is to get into a Condo in Lake St Louis Missouri. They led us on. Made us pay 60 each equalling 120 dollars for credit is check. They used Equifax which is free and which is also free. So they picketed 120 dollars for nothing. Said they couldn't give us a copy of the reports. Scammers. Realtor who showed said property said it had been on the market a long time.
They led us to believe we would be able to rent it. We had put a large deposit down. There was a huge hassle to get said money back when they said we did not qualify. Stay away from this Company is my advice.

I've been renting from Efthim for 4 years now. 2 Apartments. They have been great all around. Always responsive when needed. I have no complaints about either place I've rented from them. If you're looking for a good landlord that has a large inventory of good properties around the Saint Louis area, I highly recommend Paul and his team.
