Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value I can tell you that out of all the rental places is is the cheapest for Seniors and disabled. Steam heat. My Electric has not been more than $25 in Eleven years. No smoking campus though!

It's okay but they don't fix things right away or replace outdated appliances. They don't take rent out when it's paid. You have to pay with a check or money order. We paid our rent last week and they still haven't cashed our check. Updated: 09/11/20

I called to inquire about an apartment to rent and Karen answered the phone. First of all there is no way on this green earth that this lady should EVEN be working with the public. She was so extremely rude that it completely took my breath away. I mentioned to her that I had some questions for her. She very rudely asked. What are your questions? I stated that I was inquiring about an apartment and she said (very rudely), we don't have any left in Billings.

I tried to explain to her that I wasn't looking in Billings but I was looking in Laurel, Whelp, I think that tore her apron off. She made sure that I was aware that there was one person on the wait list and that I was no longer welcome to call back. Not sure what I said wrong but apparently she didn't like it. Oh and she stated that they are overly stressed out right now and I need to deal with it. WHOA!

I asked for the managers name she said that there isn't a manager but an owner. I asked for the name and number and she hung up on me. WOW! I brought this up to a friend of mine that lives in these particular apartments and was told that she is always like this. I need a job. I should apply for hers!

This company is incredibly rude and does nothing to help me work out of my situation that I'm in after I type them a long letter explaining everything she just blatantly denied me due to poor credit and would not work with me at all this is not the type of company that should be working with low income families they should have some kind of soul or heart, not a cold-hearted jerk like she was

I currently rent from HDA. The building I reside in is extreamly old, there's always something needing to be fixed. That being said the maintenance guy they have doesn't know anything about being a maintenance man. I have repeatedly called to have my air conditioner looked at and 5 calls later I'm still soaking up water. Update: after moving out, I was sent a $5000 bill for repairs and damages that I repeatedly called on.

Very rude office staff. After nearly 3 MONTHS of my child jumping through paperwork hoops in order to rent an apt., they sent the approval letter to the wrong town. When we received it two weeks later, I called to let them know it was sent to the wrong address, and my kid had since found another apt, and they hung up on me. Note to staff: Try to be kind and supportive of people who want to do business with you, not dismissive and short. Help make the world a better place. All in all, it was an enormous blessing that you sent it to the wrong town. Thank you.

This review is in regards to the Santa Fe Arms property managed by this company. Pros: Cheap/paid utilities Westend location Decent sized units Month to month leases Cons: Where do I begin? Years ago this place was considered a really nice place to live. It no longer is! It looks like ZERO maintenance has been done on the upkeep of the building in the last 15 years.

The courtyard reeks of cigarette smoke, the plants are dying, there are cigarette butts and burns in the carpets (fire hazard?!) on the stairs, the safety of the building has gone down TREMENDOUSLY. There are security doors that used to be locked after 9PM that are no longer locked. This allows traffic of unwanted guests to "squat" in the courtyard and be loud/fight all night.

The 3rd floor has mattresses leaning against the wall for this purpose. When leaving the other day, someone's front door had been kicked in and was lying on the floor off the hinges. Cops are regularly called on the other tenants here, there are always cops in the parking lot. There is coin-op laundry on site, but other residents have removed my clothes and stolen my dryer time too many times for me to trust them.

The shotty security and squatters alone should deter anyone from living here, let alone a single woman or children. I would not advise! Management doesn't seem to care about issues. Nothing is ever resolved. Save your money and live somewhere where your safety is valued.

Hda Management steals your money. I did everything I was suppose to clean the entire place. They told me I had to clean the cabinets and heaters and everthing. Therfore it is sparkling clean. I cleaned the entire place and the carpet, refrigerator and stove. My security deposit is $795.00 and they say they Spent $796.00 on cleaning. Which is a lie cause there was nothing else to be cleaned. Mitchell, Dave, and the man who own the place are thieves.

They steal your money, so honest people get played and taken advantage of. Cheap places and they don't really care about what's going on in their facilities. Apartments get broken into, your belongings get stolen, and you dont quite feel safe when gunmen start showing up. Just saying, if you want a safe, nice place, try another apartment, with more honest people.

Bad people, don't give honest family a chance. They would rather have meth addicted middle aged jobless bums living there. Thanks for showing my mother the apartment, but from the other reviews I'm glad we didn't get it.
