Sun Property Group managed our condo in Brookline for the last 2 years. Throughout that time, they helped us find multiple tenants and accrue fair passive income from them. We were rarely bothered and if they called us it was for something important. I specifically wanted to thank Adam Jaena. Adam would always go above and beyond for us. Even when we were preparing to sell our condo (and not paying the management company), Adam stopped by to make sure everything was all set for open houses and sale. I would highly recommend working with Adam Jaena and Sun Property to manage your property.

I lost money dealing with Sun Property Group. They issued late payments. They also got lease terms incorrectly not as advertised (which they had control over) which was a costly mistake to others. If that is not enough they made more glaring mistakes putting others in legally liable situations. It was bad enough I had enough evidence to go to court.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH SUN PROPERTY GROUP! This includes renting or buying a home from them, or trusting them to manage your home. I can't imagine trusting a property with these scumbags. I feel bad for those who have made this mistake. They basically neglect their properties and the tenants living in them for as long as possible while making sure to collect rent.
All the while the property value of the neglected homes is plummeting. By the time the home owners want to sell their property they won't even make a profit (including the rent they earned) because of the decrease in their home's value.

I had to work with a property manager named Molly Reardon. She never once answered her phone. Anytime I left voicemails they were not returned. In fact, the only way I was able to contact her was calling the accounting department who was nice enough to convey my messages. When it came time to return the security deposit, she said that they would send it the address my roommates and I agreed on.
When there was a dispute regarding which address to send it too, she lied to accounting saying that I agreed just so she could send it out (I know because accounting told me this) Now, we are past the time frame in which they are legally required to return the security deposit. Long story short, this place is a nightmare to work with.

1 star is truly generous - if you're debating renting an apartment managed by Sun Property Group but wanted to read reviews to see if it's worth it, please TRUST the reviews when they say it's bad. Because it's HORRIBLE. If you put in requests to have something fixed in your apartment, you'll wait over a month just to have the item(s) fixed. When they do fix something it's at bare minimum, and it will most likely break again.
They won't answer the phone or emails, no matter how many times you call or email. They also won't call you back. If they owe you money, you'll have to threaten them with a lawsuit just to get your money from them. If your apartment ever gets mice, it's your fault because you're dirty, no matter how clean you and the apartment might be. They also will "fix" the issue by putting out traps.
They'll never empty said traps, or plug any holes where the mice might be getting in. I can keep going on and on. But in all seriousness, please go rent with any other landlord/management company besides them. You do not deserve to be stuck in a contract, living in unlivable conditions, or paying a company that could careless about their tenants.

Not responsive whatsoever when it comes to important matters their paying tenants need to discuss. We left the place more clean than when we moved in, and they charged us a $500 cleaning fee, yet never returned our calls to discuss this charge. I recommend to avoid this company if you are renting, please save yourself the headache. Has to be one of the worst management companies I have ever seen, you will not receive good service and they WILL find a way to rip you off one way or the other.

ABOLUTLEY TERRIBLE. Trying to get someone on the phone is impossible. If you email them, you will either receive no response, or get a response 5 days later. We rented one of their properties and had countless issues with the unit, the place was dirty when we moved in and they charged us a $520 cleaning fee when we moved out. I can't believe this company is still in business and it makes me sick knowing that a company can be so unprofessional. Good luck to anyone that utilizes this company in the future.

Absolutely worst group I've ever dealt with. If I could rate them zero stars I would. My boyfriend and I were very interested in one of their apartments for rent - showed up for a showing not once but TWICE unsuccessfully. The first time there was a miscommunication with the tenant and we were unable to see the unit, and the second time we were stood up.
I emailed to confirm the appointment and received no response. My boyfriend and I waited for 30 minutes before finally leaving. I followed up with an email to reschedule twice and no response either. Extremely unreliable and unresponsive. Lucky we got out without renting a place, because I can't imagine how unresponsive they'd be if there were any issues with the unit. Do NOT recommend!

Sun Property Group deserves a 0/10 rating, they are absolute nightmare. Even if you find the best apartment ever, DO NOT work with this company. If you see a rating over 2 stars, it's safe to say that it is someone who works there. For Context: I was prepared to sign a lease because it was a beautiful apartment, but Sun Property Group would go weeks at a time without responding to multiple calls and emails.
My roommates and I had to find out about a black mold problem in the apartment from previous tenants, who said that management refused to address the issue until it was too late.

Won't ever pick up the phone concerning apartment matters or return calls when messages are left. Appliances in our apartment did not work and it took them two weeks to send a plumber to fix them, then a week later another arrived because whoever was in charge of the operation was so bad at planning. They also refuse to put into the system for our apartment because it creates extra work for them, as if doing so was not already their job.
