If I could give Chris a 10 star review I would. I cannot express how thankful we are for Chris and his team. We are first time home buyers and we are so relieved that we chose such an experienced agent. Chris knows everything about the Everett area and more. Our closing was likely one of the more frustrating ones he's had to deal with due to the seller, but Chris took it in stride always advocating for what was our wishes and what was in our best interest. I honestly cannot imagine what would have happened with anyone less qualified. I will be recommending him and his staff to everyone I meet!

Provided offer to listing agent (Corina Helfrich) and had to beg for updates. Never given any notice nor opportunity to counter - we were ignored and dismissed. We will avoid Lamoureux Real Estate listings from now on.

A quick review after closing a sale where Ms Lamoureux was our Seller agent: -knowledgeable about Everett market -paid for staging -found contractors to handle inspector corrections Buyer requested and, with one exception, they were great. -quick communication throughout the day -some "confusion" over our choice to pay as we go, over using licensed electrician and plumber (vs "her handyman") -added a pipe to the water heater work ticket without our permission -bought a New Homeowners policy for the Buyer (with their agent) and explained that was the reason she added the pipe without asking I left a longer review on Zillow if you want more deets.

I've used Barb for a recent home sale. Although the home sold, there were marketing faults and other issues which I believe were costly. For example, she recommended listing our 5-bedroom home as a 4-bedroom, saying it matches buyers searches better. Initially we agreed as she was adamant and has greater experience. After further research, we found this to be a costly mistake.

Most search engines use 4+ for the search, rather than a fixed 4. Also, she told us that she had to use county records for square footage, even though we told her we had documentation confirming a higher square footage (200+ more). There were marketing problems, such as, the #1 online real estate site did not show our home for sale until the listing was well over a week old.

The above-mentioned issues were eventually fixed. We were told photos would be from a professional photographer. Although they were not bad, they were not from a professional photographer. Most of the photos could have been improved though use of a wide-angle lens for greater field of view to better showcase each space. On the positive side, Barb is responsive via phone or e-mail.

Not sure the issues others ran into, however Barb has been nothing but professional in my recent experience with her and the team! Very responsive and lots of insight with the tons of questions that come up during these things. You can tell the depth of knowledge has come through decades of experience!

Barb Lamoureux was a Great Blessing to our family. She did not sell our property but she was every helpful in the transition of information and ideas of our father Carl Adams relocation. He recently passed Away November 7th in North Everett. Barb is more than just a Great Real Estate Agent. She is a GREAT Human being who Genuinely cares for people. Went to look at a rental home, Barb was generally rude, judged us very quick without asking a single question about us and she didn't express interest in showing us the home, instead she stood in the kitchen the entire time on her phone! Then after we expressed we really liked the home and were interested, she told us we probably wouldn't qualify because we each needed to make 4 times the rent. Needless to say, I will not be returning to her services.

My fiance and I just sold our house through Lamoureux Real Estate and it was honestly the most pleasant and professional experience I have ever had! Buying the house three years ago was a nightmare of complaintive and incompetent banks (we had to switch bank at the last second) and a rude and dismissive agent, so we were expecting much the same from selling it.

Not so! I called Chris because the house was old and located in historic Everett and his website said that he was an expert in that. Boy was he ever. He set us up with everything we needed, recommended wonderful professionals to help us get the place ready, and his lovely wife even showed up to stage the house (it looked stunning) before it went on show.

He was extremely up front about the pricing so we knew exactly how much money was going to go where based on the starting sale price. All the way through the process he was very canny, knew exactly how to predict the pricing and how to pick the buyers. He was professional and immensely helpful - he even brought boxes to our house multiple times for us, and made himself constantly available for questions via text and email.

When he went on vacation he let me know well in advance and assured me that I could talk to Barb while he was gone, which I indeed could, and the quality of service was absolutely seamless. We just closed on the house yesterday for a pretty sizeable profit after what was a virtually stress-free sale. I'm stunned and delighted by the excellence of the service and would recommend Lamoureux Real Estate to anyone.

In my dealings with Barb Lamoureaux I have found her to be very unprofessional and insulting. I had a similar to the one below experience when placing an offer on one of her listings. She came back accusing us of being dishonest and trying to take advantage of of her and her clients. The question I must pose to people considering doing business with her is would you want her unprofessional behavior to reflect upon you?

The odds are by doing this, she is costing her clients money due to her inability to carry herself in a professional manner. She really reflects poorly upon others in her field.

I have been in contact with Barb Lamoureux for over a year while waiting to qualify for a home purchase. She has always responded immediately to every request I have made and answered every question. She has been helpful with suggestions and ideas and educated me with both sale and rental information. In addition, she constantly has the best listings in the area.
