If I could give 0 stars for RPM I would. I have lived in a home managed by RPM for 5 years. The first 4 years we had excellent service and communication from the staff. About a year ago a new company bought RPM and it has been all downhill from there. The Property Manager Libby has horrible communication and customer service skills. The poor maintenance are left responsible to explain why something is not being completed after months of waiting.
Now they have Resident coordinators who are supposed to help resolve your issues, when they communicate back with you its the same excuse you were told months back. At this point I have had a non working garage for 3 months and when I do get a call back or an email its the same update I received last month. I understand that some decisions must be approved by the homeowner but as the management company they need to do better.

Chris Bell always has our investment priced at the best market rates. Everyone will have a story and Chris is fair but no nonsense to make sure your investment is protected. Chris is extremely knowledgeable with all of nuances within the rental market and is always helpful with advice that is offered.

I have been renting from RPM for almost 4 years now and I am very pleased with the service that I have received. They have always responded quickly to maintenance requests, and always been very friendly and professional. This property was my first house that I have rented and myself and my family love it here. If you are looking to rent a nice home you should definitely contact RPM to help you with your journey.

I searched and searched for a company to rent a house from, and I kept getting either no response, bad customer service, policies not designed to support the residents, etc. I stumbled upon RPM Indy Metro, and Janis sent me a quick response. She was by far the best person I worked with in the process to find a home - she was quick to respond, flexible in her schedule to assist us in our limited time availability, and very professional. Then, I discovered that General Manager Jamie is very reliable in getting repairs scheduled and managing all the other things she manages. Plus, the repair technician who came to fix a few things was very courteous, speedy, professional, and obviously has a lot of experience making repairs as he knew just what to do.
I've already told several people about the amazing experience we've had with this team, and even if I decide to move to another house in the Indy area someday, I won't consider searching any other company as they're top notch. Even though moving is a stressful experience, finding this team made our move so much less stressful. Thank you! Update. We've recently ended our relationship with Real Property Management.
We expected to receive our deposit check back, but they have a stupid policy that they send our deposit, that we made to them, to the (now former) owner of the house, who won't return it to us, so RPM cheated us out of our deposit. I had a great experience with them up until that point, but now recommend people NOT rent with them.
I've already told several people about the amazing experience we've had with this team, and even if I decide to move to another house in the Indy area someday, I won't consider searching any other company as they're top notch. Jamie often recommends excessive maintenance and if they know you are out of state you can bet you will get extra charges or a higher charge for what is needed. 75 dollars every time you go to my property? That is excessive. I had a contractor double check quotes and found at times things needed a 5 minute fix instead of being replaced. I have also found double the charge from their in-house team.
They often try to hold you hostage to complete the renovation they want before they will list your property. This often doesn't align to the neighborhood or to your value of the property. They can charge you up to 300 dollars for work without having to ask you for permission to do that work (as per their contract). I have found they often abuse this.
I have seen many exactly 300 dollar charges come through without any discussion with me the owner. Many of those 300 dollar charges were realistically 50-100 dollar jobs. Would highly not recommend the services of this company that takes advantage of their clients.

I was a new investor in Indy and was recommended to this company. I first realized something was when the General manager Jaime, required excessive repairs in order to rent the house out and wanted to charge over $3000 for trash removal and replacing light bulbs and other small things. I told her that my contractor had done some of these things and I did not want to pay for them a second time.
She said she could send someone out for $75 to inspect again and I said no. Soon I decided to go with a new company. When my realtor showed up to pick up keys, they only gave her one even though they require 3 keys and made me pay to have 2 made, but I was told they were never made. On my last statement they charged me $75 to inspect the property again even though I asked them not to and they charged fees for all kinds of things so that they could keep the rest of the $300 in my account, when I should have been charged no more than $15. My house was never rented by them.

I could not be happier with my property management company. For anyone interested in leasing a beautiful home, as well as working with consummate professionals, RPM is the company with whom to contact. My experience has been five star. I first met with the broker, Janice, to see the home and apply. I was not treated as an application but as a person.
The communication was expedient and efficient as well as the moving process and lease signing etc. My children and I have lived here now since August. My home is in perfect condition and I attribute that not only to my cleaning LOL but to the magnificent in-house maintenance available 24/7. My contact is Jamie and she is on top of everything. Problems will be handled and you will be treated with the upmost respect from your property managers and maintenance professionals. This level of professionalism makes my life much easier! I know any issues and or requests will be handled expeditiously!

Jamie Smith is the office manager and does an especially good job handling the property.

We have had wonderful experiences with RPM! Jamie has been incredibly helpful from the application process all the way through helping us with any problems we have encountered while living at our current residence. Responses to maintenance requests have been very quick, and JR who is new to his position but a veteran with the company was incredibly patient with and kind with my roommates. The people here really make their residents feel welcome and appreciated.
