Best PM company ever! I have lived in one of their rental properties for over 4 years and they are absolutely great, very responsive to service requests and always a pleasure to interact with.

Couldn't even get anyone on the phone to inquire about available property listings. Emailing doesn't work, calling doesn't work. Basically I feel like I'm getting snubbed. Update: Was finally able to reach someone, once, and they were thankfully polite and helpful, but good lord 9 times out of 10 you will not reach these people.

Star realty is a real blessing. A special thanks is in order Diana, Lori and Valerie. Patience, understanding, professional and follow through. We were having such a hard time concerning our home until Star realty took over. Less than 24 hours all of my concerns and fix its (10 month period of requests to previous Management) were approved and repaired immediately.

These ladies and contractors were very much on the ball. Compassion, intelligent and informative. Emails were responded accordingly. Calls answered and returned. We are so greatful and glad star realty is now on board. Thank you so very much.

Melanie was great in helping my mother find a good place to live. She was able to answer all of our questions very thoroughly. She even provided us a utility company to call us and have our utilities turned on. It was a very stress free move in and my mother is very happy. Thank you Star realty for making this experience as easy as you did. We will definitely recommend you.

My experience with Star Realty has been best. Their office and maintenance staff were are the real MVP's. I can honestly say from my experience with them, they really really work with you. If there are any maintenance or property issues they'll definitely resolve the issue. I really hate we will no longer have them as our property managers. As a tenant, had very good experience with Star Realty fixing issues and going above and beyond in almost every circumstance. Feel any issues reported are always addressed, staff has been respectful and overall would recommend doing business with them. Thank you for the work you do and ensuring that as a tenant I am treated fairly and honestly. As with other similar reviews, I have to say their staff really are quite awesome and I am grateful to have the opportunity to do business with them.

I lived in a home managed by star realty for 1 year. This was my first place after graduating from college and I lived with two roommates (also recent college grads). We were all working for the same company and had some trouble getting them to lease us a home because we had no credit history (very reasonable, i get that) so, my dad cosigned the lease for me and also paid a second month's worth of deposit to ensure the company we were serious about moving in.

Through the year I had trouble getting service requests completed (i had a leaking toilet and it took weeks of calling for someone to finally come) still, that wasn't a big deal. At the end of our lease I called to let the company know we would not be renewing our lease. Our projected move out date was the same week Hurricane Harvey hit, so we had to pay for an additional 5 days of rent since we couldn't move out (Houston was under water).

Not a big deal. We were living there, so we paid. After I had moved out as had my roommates, I spent hours cleaning and walking through the house with my initial walk through inspection to check for anything that could be wrong. A few weeks went by and I had not received my refund check for our deposit (total of 3,800). I called to check on the status of this and was told they had mailed me a check for $1600. Basically, Star Realty tried to make up any reason to take money out of our abnormally large deposit.

I take pride in things and would never leave someones home with damage which was why this was so concerning. Eventually, after talking with my Land Lord and having to threaten the company to get my money back, I received a basically full deposit. Long story short, these people made me feel awful and forced my LandLord and I to deal with things on our own when they are paid to manage the property.

I've read other reviews where Star pushed to get more more more of a tenants deposit. I would absolutely not recommend this company to anyone or use them again myself on either the tenant or owner end of things.

Mark, Sloane, and the rest of the team are extremely professional and diligent. They are very responsive to any question I have, and even come to me with proactive suggestions for improving my properties. I initially began working with them when they bailed me out of a situation with my previous property manager, who was overwhelmed and had become non-responsive. They have found good tenants, dealt with any issues promptly and responsibly. Without reservations, I recommend Star Realty as a Property Manager.

Working with Star Realty has been a complete breeze. They are thorough with their screening process and I was approved by the end of the day. The maintenance department is also quick with our requests/repairs. If I ever need to move I will try and find a home that they manage. The office staff is always friendly and easy to get in touch with!
