Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness Rented a house from them for a year on Sergeant Ave. Paid ahead for rent multiple times, never late. Can't get my deposit back after Jay Gibby told me I didn't give them a notice (I did). I'm in the process of writing an official letter of complaint. The house had mice, ants, and the cricket grasshoppers. Do not rent from them.

Absolutely horrible! We have bought numerous homes over the years and was looking for a small place in my wife's home town of Carthage. Was setup with Charles Burt Joplin via Zillow and on the FIRST CALL was hung up on on when he asked about financing and my response was cash. They do not seem to like people who are cash paying customers! I understand they need to weed out the people who cannot get financed, but we would have been an easy sale. Ron hangs up when you are trying to just make an viewing appointment. Fine, we will take our business elsewhere.

Extremely unprofessional. Upon moving in we found things about property that were covered up during inspection and got no cooperation in rectifying. Was called for a monthly inspection where property manager did not show up and no call. Sent an elderly man to do repairs that were beyond his abilities. Very antagonizing attitude by property manager who was not concerned about safety of tenants.

They just gave ower hopes up, there in it for the money not the couster. We find a house that we really wanted, and started all the paperwork. An we gave full price offer on the house only for them too us that we can't have it. That's pretty shity. They lead us on about the house. The realtor keplt telling us we had the house it was ower house four to six week we was getting ready to move in.
Than they took it away. Please anybody that reads stay AWAY from CHARLES BURT REACTORS. WILL NEVER SEND ANYBOBY THERE. The realtor that we had he is a snake in the grass. He is the devil all he cares about is money. An money is the root of all evil.

These people don't call you back or respond. I called Jay Gibby three times, left messages, filled out online application - even went to the office in person and they told me they were too busy to talk to me and took my name and number. Looked around, seen about 5 employees and no other "customers". I finally gave up on the place I wanted, went to a different realtor, and was moving myself into a new place that evening. Edited here: By the way, that was all over a two week period. Update: Called me today. Google wouldn't let me delete this post, only edit. Changed to 3 stars.
