I purchased a property represented by Interstate. I purchased the property in an "as is" state, trusting that they were a reputable company, and would disclose any problems with the property. The reason (supposedly) that the property was selling in an "as is" state, was that the water heater inside the house was not installed per code. It seemed like a minor infraction to me, so I overlooked it.
After taking possession, and signing off on everything, I found out the true nature of the property. Any time it rained, four of the rooms in the house leaked and/or flooded. I had the property inspected before purchase, but this particular problem would not be evident unless it was raining.it was not. There were many other problems that went undetected at first, and NONE of this was disclosed. I would ABSOLUTELY not recommend these folks to anyone!
