The first property Bluestar managed was destined for bankruptcy due to poor management by another company.

Hey Folks at Bluestar, you need someone new on HOA, Maria never answers the phone, never returns calls, and right now they are towing people because of the concrete pour, i just ran into this little older lady in the parking lot on the verge of tears asking if anyone saw her car why is it so hard to check if the plates of a car with no pass are on record? and if the plates are on record why cant they call the phone number on record, and if the phone wont answer, then they must be home because the car is there in the parking lot, send out your parking monitor to knock on the door and give residents a chance to put their pass up before towing

The property they manage on Sueno lane has a problematic tenant there that's been causing problems since last year. Well last nights incident takes the cake, she kicked my door in breaking it and now it won't lock at all police were called and they took about an hour to come and absolutely did nothing to her until I gave them the value of the door which I don't know because I don't know the cost I do not own the apartments.
After hours maintenance was contacted last night with me putting a work order in for the door to be fixed because it won't lock and after an hour I got a call back from them stating they were sending someone about to fix the door. That was at 9:15pm and today at 1:36 pm still no maintenance worker here to replace the door. Do u know how scary it was to try and sleep with a door that won't lock with 3 children in the apartment?
I couldn't sleep and had to use furniture to barricade the door putting a bell on the knob so that I could here the bell jingle in case of possible intruders. All the Bluestar Property management people did was give me a number to the Royalty Carpet Care people and states they do repairs as well, and Randy only asked if I called the police and asked for a police report.
I don't understand why this last has not been evicted when multiple tenants since last year have complained about her erratic behavior, threats, and now vandalism. What mire is is going to take for them to remove her from the premises why should everyone else have to move because of that problematic tenant. Most of us can't afford to move at the moment, and she's the one causing intentional damage to their property and harassing the neighbors since last year.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS MANAGAMENT COMPANY AT ALL. They do not care about their tenants safety and will only speak to u thru email and not resolving matters in a timely manner or not resolving them at all this is the second major incident I've had with them and they are way too nonchalant about handling emergencies. If a zero star rating existed that's would this place would receive!

My husband had applied for a duplex last week when it was still up on the website because we are in dire need to find a place to stay. I called on Tuesday to check the application since it was MLK day Monday. A receptionist answered she never stated her name but it's the only one who works there since everytime I called she answered. She's actually quite rude speaks over you so it's hard to communicate with her.
I had talk to her about my husband's application that she was supposed to run the credit for and she was beating around the bush to run the credit since she wanted me to apply. (I got the sence she was purposely not helping us out). I couldn't get the application since they had removed the unite from the website and I had asked her several times wear I was gonna apply. she avoided my question.
We ended up emailing the manager and got no response. It seemed to me she just didn't want to run our application. This place is definitely not professional and lacks communication skills.

I went on there to check out different properties to see what they had. I heard that they took over some properties off of mini road in Apple valley was thinking about moving down to the high desert again to be closer to family members however they didn't have any other listings but I have no problem this was staying in the mountains.

I love Blue Star Property Management. I've been with Blue Star for almost 7 years. I have never ever had any problems with this company. They are super kind, Very professional, organized and helpful. I especially like one of there power sources. He is an employee by the name Randy. He has assisted me from day one. Randy has enhanced my confidence and trust exceptionally in this company. Last night our neighbors had a big party until 6 am as they usually do. They and their guests busted out windows on almost every car on the property including mine. Everyone has complained about their loud parties and the fact that they have disrespected other tenants and threatened them. Blue star has done nothing about them. I demand Bluestars insurance cover not only my cars damaged window but also everyone else.
This is ridiculous and our home is not safe. I emailed Bluestar with pictures and no response as usual. Very bad place to live and Bluestar just doesn't care. UNACCEPTABLE! Response to owner; I already did.

They will charge you for everything imaginable when you move out, no matter what. They have the nerve to charge us to paint the entire home a new color to prepare it for sale. We are not responsible for painting the unit a new color. See you scammers in court. Response: when I call you know exactly who I am and what property this is about. Shelly is rude and unprofessional, and any other employee we speak to blames her.
At the end of the day we have to take this company to court to resolve the unethical charges on move out. We will not pay you thousands of dollars for unethical charges. This is a scam company.

Absolutely terrible unacceptable this property management is. I've dealt with them two separate times both times having the same results and the same treatment which is not only unprofessional and unacceptable but it's despicable! So this time we're taking matters into our own hands and into the Court's hands because as you can see from the past year they have not done their part nor held up their end of the bargain in this rentals agreement contrac to as far as what they're required to do as a property management company.
I won't get into the specifics just yet, I will have an update once moved out. People just need to know DO NOT go through blue star properties unless you want to be scammed out of thousands of dollars and hustled from them and the slumlord they represent.

They charge thousands on move out even if you leave the property in perfect condition. They are unprofessional and blaim the owner for the charges and when you get in contact with the owner they blame the property management company. Not worth the derogatory mark on your credit and the fight to get the thousands of dollars in ridiculous charges off your credit.

They've been our property management company for all of one month and we are already having problems. My kitchen sink leaks, as does my dishwasher. Let the landlord know and they ignored it. Two weeks after I told the landlord about this problem, some lady from Bluestar is knocking on my door letting me know that they're taking over as property management and to call them directly with any issues.
Never got any warning about it from the landlord/owner. I called the maintenance director, Lupe, on her line and left a voicemail about my sink and dishwasher, no call back. Called the maintenance request line a week later and put in a request for my sink to be fixed. 3 weeks go by, nothing. Not a word from anyone. Called yesterday to request maintenance again and the woman I spoke to told me that on her end it said that the previous maintenance request had been completed. ABSOLUTELY FALSE.
She placed another request, no one showed up yesterday, and no one is here today, and I bet no one will show up tomorrow either. UPDATE: Maintenance manager is rude and assumed we don't pay for water since we live in an apartment after one of their contractors used my spigot without permission. Her exact words were "you live in an apartment. You don't pay water." So the water bill that's IN MY NAME means I don't pay water, right? Still have yet to hear back from anyone regarding this and I've requested for them to contact me about it 3 or 4 times.
