If I had read all the previous one-star reviews, I could have saved myself some time from dealing with them. Their website lets you schedule a virtual tour, where an agent is suppose to hop on a call and show you the apartment. No such thing happened. I even got automated text messages asking me to respond to confirm I will still show up. I did so, and no one shows up and no one answers their phone.

I lived a nightmare with one of their rental properties. I wasted my time and money on this property. This is about the landlord at 464 Lincoln Cir in Millbrae. I signed a contract with Mid-Peninsula Management for one year lease but we ended up living there for 3 months. Everything was fine. My family were happy at the beginning to find a place just like we wanted, hard floor, large space at a fare praise compares with others apartment.
We are a family of 2 adults, 2 kids and one new born baby. The landlord looks friendly and honest when we meet him, so we thought this would be a nice place to live for about 4 years while we are saving for a house. All started 2 weeks after we moved in. Landlord keeps calling complaining about noise, kids running around, TV volume, etc. I bought a bunch of carpet rugs to cover the floor to reduce footstep noise.
We didn't watch TV at all so we please the neighbors. By the way, people on this building are sensitive to any kind of noise. At that moment I just wanted to finish my one-year lease contract and leave that place. My girlfriend gave birth and we had a new born baby. One week later the Landlord came to the apartment to tell me to leave and he will give me the full deposit.
He told me that there are several complaints about noise, footsteps, baby's cry, kids' noise after midnight and a bunch of lies that didn't make sense to me. He kicked me out with no written notice. I spent time and money looking for a new place with a new born baby and my girlfriend still weak after being in the hospital. So stressful! For the worst, he gave me $600 back from $2495 deposit. What a rip off! Stay Away from this place!

The worst management company in the Bay Area doesn't begin to describe this business. If you're looking for a grade A scam artist, look no further than Jerry at Mid Peninsula Management. I have never encountered such a level of incompetence and unprofessional behavior. The BAD news is, he completely wasted our time during our hunt for a residence in the Bay Area.
Totally unresponsive, zero follow-through, and shady actions when it came to demanding money. He even had the nerve to send disrespectful text messages. Even WORSE, the property owner he was representing confessed that he couldn't get in touch with him! The GOOD news is. we dodged a massive bullet by finding another place and property manager.
If you are considering hiring for maintenance, property management, or are a prospective tenant, I cannot encourage you more to put your time, energy, and money anywhere but here.

Jerry and Midpeninsula Management have been great to us as tenants at our commercial property. Jerry and his team have been very responsive and professional to work with. I highly recommend them as property managers and are grateful we can work with a nice family owned and founded business like this one!

Stay away! Rented an apartment managed by this company for 2 years. A fire burned out two units in this 10 unit complex in the daytime, and they never notified any of the other tenants that this happened nor explained what the cause was, despite multiple requests for a copy of the fire report. Jerry is rude and dishonest. Expect to be gouged on your security deposit.
We thoroughly cleaned the unit, and was told by Jerry that we wouldn't be charged for cleaning. Guess what. he charged us for cleaning anyways. What a scumbag. If I had looked up this management company before renting, I never would have rented this unit. Terrible person to work with.

My fiance and I scheduled a showing for the 2316 Flores property in San Mateo. The latest appointment they had was 5:30pm so we scheduled it and both took time off work to view the property. We rush to the property on time, to find that there is no one there! We see another gentlemen who apparently had a 5pm appointment and he too was left hanging.
We waited around until 6pm to give the real estate agent or broker a chance to arrive, BUT NOBODY EVER SHOWED. Not only is it incredibly frustrated that we both lost paid time off work, but I also called the same day to confirm my appointment and they assured me they had be on calendar. I would stay away from this company, there is a reason that property is still on the market weeks later! Renters and Owners BEWARE! They never even called to apologize

I'm still surprised how could it be that there is almost no reviews for that "firm". It looks like the single guy does all work there, and it does it in a completely inappropriate way. Completely amateur, don't return calls; it's not possible to reach by phone; pretty much all of my service requests were not fulfilled. The guy was late even when i was supposed to move in (and unreachable by phone), so he almost screwed up my furniture delivery. All the staying was very uncomfortable, so i'm happy that i moved out eventually. Don't deal with that firm, and you save your time, nerves and money.
