If you're looking to refinance your condominium unit, you will most likely require a legal 6D certificate. Almost always required by Massachusetts real estate law, the 6D certificate ensures that any unpaid condominium or common fees are resolved before the unit's refinancing. The form is proof that all common charges due as of the date through which payment has been received are resolved fully. Any remaining fees or charges be paid in full at least five business days before issuing the 6D certificate.

I don't know why we pay for this management company. Needed to have a some work done on our telephone line so my son could work and school from home. The supposed Vice President of the company called me back to say we did not have a maintenance person to unlock the door. It would cost me $250 to track down who had the key and get them here. This was not considered an emergency.
Well in the "new normal" emergencies have a different meaning. Even the tech who came by to work on our line said they do not like dealing with Crowninshield. In the 23 years I have lived this is the first time I have had needed their help. Hopefully the last.

This management company is the ABSOLUTE worst! They give unit owners the run around and don't take complaints about the building seriously. They "take down" information and say they will "look into it and get back to you." But, they never do. I can't wait until my building is under new management. Anything is better than this!

The dealings I have had with this company have been awful. I sent written notes and e-mails to find out when the potholes in our parking lot would be fixed. I never get an answer back and it is July already. Also, the property manager never returns phonecalls. I have had little experience with property management companies, but I would suggest to not hire this company.

I've been in real estate over 30 years and worked with many management companies, as a realtor I haven't always had the nicest reception when requesting documents. I've been fortunate enough to have Caitlin Tee assist on more then occasion and she is incredible!. She is always professional and attentive. She understands how quick a real estate transaction moves and has always been right on top of everything, making my job so much easier! Everything that I requested was done in a timely manner. She is certainly an asset to Crowninshield management.

Pool with unsafe levels of bromine for two years Why. I moved here. Did expensive leak work only some success. Constant projects and assessments. Spent 3 months on my flat roof as only a cess to job. My 95 year. Old neighbor died after complaints and I got bells palsy from stress and still disfigured. Management accused me of violating rules. As if to drive me out.
For complaints and being in lobby Disfigured for others to see. Pipes in lobby burst. Starting fire and big damage. Residents called early am and company send emails on how. To communicate to them. Cannot reach supervisor, no extension Typical management of elderly population.

As a resident at Tannery Gardens I'm disappointed in the handling of residents using illegal drugs. My children should not ever know what pot smells like but they smell it everyday walking through the halls. What a waste of resources when the fire alarms go off every other day for no reason other than stupid potheads. Right now the fire chief 2 engines and a latter truck are here. For what? Bad management! This place sucks and is clearly not for families or decent people.

Horrible Management Company. They fine ($50) condo owners for not returning paperwork in a timely fashion. My paperwork was sent befoer the due date. I received a threatening letter that I would be fined $50 because they had not received my paperwork. I called the office and they did have my paperwork. DOUBLE CHECK your records before sending a notice that I will be fined $50!

We are a 107-unit bldg. in Salem, MA. We hired Crowninshield in 2012. They hired a full-time maintenance man who proceeded to steal from our residents for 8 months, not report for work, not complete his tasks, and the property manager Nathaniel Brown did nothing. We, the owners, had to file police reports after he was finally let go, then take him to court, then get him convicted.
He was a drug addict. Crowninshield did nothing to supervise him and ignored our complaints. A terrible management company. We received zero compensation and zero accountability by Crowninshield.
