I don't know if this was Ginger or whomever but.is there a reason why I was given a smoke detector that does not work? Smh! Wow! This is the 3rd request for a smoke detector. The first time Rebecca Brown did send someone over, and what did he do? He put one in that too does not work. Now, of course she had no way of knowing that (I assume) but, who knows? I've sent a request before holidays that this new one does not work.
How do I know that? Because this apartment was filled with smoke and it didn't go off. Now, had I been asleep. I'd be dead. Smh! I then sent a message over the weekend requesting one, and again.no one has done it. A smoke detector is not something that you stick on a list, it's something that needs to be replaced right away. UPDATE: The detector was replaced but this time with a new one, instead of a used one that could've cost a life.
I don't understand you people-I really don't. Cutting corners with people's lives just doesn't make sense. Why also, do I as a tenant have to walk up to the leasing office because they refuse to answer the phone, or return calls? You all refuse to correct the behaviors of the people of whom you are responsible for, but you get angry with the tenants who aren't the problem, when we are forced to exercise our rights.
That makes absolutely no sense and exactly why people leave. The tenants aren't the problem here- the management is. It's important that others are able to objectively make a decision on where they call home or what in this situation. Those reading these reviews do your research via the website, the BBB, YELP etc.so that your decisions are informative and work in your mental, physical, emotional and financial favor.
As a former EEOC and NAACP representative, people being treated equally and without prejudice is paramount to me. Exercise your rights even as a tenant if you need to, as you do have rights. Our reviews are honest, accurate and based on our experiences.

Beware of their Nine Mary Brickell Village condos, particularly under the management of their current association manager Nayomi Orriols. Nayomi is incredibly rude and unprofessional and will almost never respond to emails or calls. If you want to test the theory, simply call the main number for Nine and press 2 for management- it will always be routed to the front desk and Nayomi will be "unavailable." It is impossible to resolve any issues as you will never receive a call/email back.
It has been especially hard during Covid because they remain behind locked doors in the management office and ignore knocking. I was warned by some employees/residents that Nine will use every delay or avoidance tactic known to man to avoid giving anyone their association deposit back at the end of their lease. When Nayomi eventually responds after you've harassed her for a month, she will make up her own rules of deciding what date it may be due back to you, contrary to the fact that her statements are completely outside of the FL 15 day statute.
Everything about this building is designed to make life difficult for residents. Every monthly newsletter is just a long list of threats to remind everyone that they will find a way to fine you for anything and everything. The barbeques have never worked. The elevators are always broken. If you have a pet, you can only use the back two service elevators to take your pet out, which would be fine except one or both are always broken or being used for a move out.
Move outs are nearly impossible to get scheduled, and then they are stressful because Nayomi magically appears to threaten you and your movers for anything and everything. Thankfully this last part did not happen to me but I certainly witnessed it happening to other residents enough times. Nayomi and her company's practices are completely unprofessional, contrary to the law and her behavior is unbecoming of "management." Their practices are intentional and absolutely unacceptable.
Please note that many of the 5 star reviews of this building are: 1. Not residents and have confused a review for Mary Brickell Village not realizing that Nine is the condo building 2. Many of the 5 star reviews are realtors- of course they will leave a 5 star review because they want to sell/lease the units 3. Many of them are about security, which the new security team is extremely nice but given they have no power over Nayomi/the management, it doesn't make up for the rest of the building and its practices being an absolute nightmare.
On the surface Nine might look like a nice building but its full of a lot of miserable residents who are waiting for their leases to run out. There are so many nice buildings in Brickell with kind and professional management teams- I live in one of them now and it's a world of difference- so go find one of those! ***Edit- in response to your reply below, I both called your company and emailed the customer service email several times- I would not have posted this review if someone had bothered to call or email me back to resolve my concern but that never happened.

Do not move into Nine at Mary Brickell Village while they are under this management. They make the residents' lives way more difficult than they need to be. They are constantly threatening to fine you and have installed cameras everywhere with that intent; not for the safety of the residents. My recent move out was a complete disaster, in part because of the management.
My movers completely screwed up my move and only got half of my stuff out of my apartment during the time I had the elevator reserved. Security was at my door threatening to tow the mover's truck and to fine me. Security physically escorted the movers out of the building as if they were criminals. I obviously needed to get the rest of my stuff out so I tried to get in touch with management.
It is nearly impossible to get a hold of them and, apparently, only Nayomi Orriols can make decisions. The rest of the staff is completely powerless to do anything. I tried calling the management office by pressing "2" when calling the mainline but, as usual, it rerouted the call to the front desk. The front desk can transfer you but they never answer the phone or return voicemails.
I resorted to calling, leaving a voicemail, and emailing Nayomi every 15 minutes to no avail. I also went down to the management office and knocked on the door several times. I could hear people inside but my knocks went completely ignored (they use COVID as an excuse for not letting people in). After attempting to get in contact with Nayomi for several hours, the person at the front desk finally told me that Nayomi asked her to ask me what I wanted. Nayomi couldn't even call me herself!
I explained the situation to the front desk attendant and she said she would let Nayomi know and she would be calling me back. I followed up several times over the next few hours with the front desk attendant and each time she said, "Nayomi still hasn't called you? She told me she would." I never heard from Nayomi so I had to take things into my own hands.
I wound up booking the movers for a few days later but I knew I couldn't use the loading dock or have an elevator reserved for me since the times that day were already booked by other residents. I woke up at 4am the morning of my move to park my car and a friend's car on the street to reserve a spot for the moving truck to park later. The movers had only made one trip to the truck before security came to them and told them they were not allowed back in the building because move-outs are not allowed at that time (moves are scheduled from either 12pm-4pm or 4pm-8pm).
I was using the PUBLIC streets and paying for my movers to park! I went to the front desk and explained the situation and they said I wasn't allowed to move out at that time. I explained that I was using the public street and an elevator that I pay for and am entitled to use. She said she had to talk to Nayomi about it. Of course, she couldn't get a hold of her.
The front desk attendant eventually gave me permission to move but only because she couldn't get a hold of Nayomi who would have certainly tried to stop me even though I tried tirelessly to work with her on a solution for getting the rest of my stuff out and it was because of her complete lack of response that I had to resort to moving out this way.
In addition to the horrible management lead by Nayomi, the elevators are always broken and if you have a dog (even if it's a service dog) you have to use the back service elevators to take it out. These are also the elevators used for move-ins/outs. It's rare that they are both working so you can imagine the congestion and waiting times when there is a move going on and people need to take their dogs out.
I also can't remember the last time all four lobby elevators worked. Bottom line, I know this building is in a great location and is very nice inside, but the management makes life incredibly frustrating for the residents. If you're reading this some time after I wrote this and really want to live there, it's worth a call to see if Nayomi is still the manager. If so, stay away.

1010 Brickell Ave Condos are a great place to live if you like a half working amenities and a non working management. Amenities have been broken for months and we have assisted management and the board to fix them; however, 5 months later still no actions taken. Constant arbitrary rule changes up to the discretion of 3 people who don't even live in the building. The management is absolutely disgraceful, even by Miami standards. Not sure how much longer residents and owners will put up with their inaction and unreliability.

I am an owner at the Wave in Hollywood. There are many issues with the property manager, Carlington Pinnock. the main one at present is the holding of our common areas hostage. This manager is unresponsive. All other condos have opened the pool and this man holes up behind locked doors and calls the police to have owners arrested for wanting our pool deck open. It appears that we will have to bring this to court.

I was never a fan of the management of 1100 Millecento Residences, but this time they went way too far. My car was robbed from the building's valet area because the valet left my keys inside car and there is NO security in that building. Management (especially Zainel Figueroa) did NOTHING to help me find my car, was extremely rude and did not answer me for days to then tell me "Millecento is not liable nor responsible for the theft of your vehicle." DISGUSTING!

Atlantic Pacific are the biggest crooks here in South Florida. Sean Fontana, William Coleman and the whole company will destroy your condo. Millions of dollars will quickly disappear. They work with the Board of Directors and devise a scheme to defraud and bankrupt all the owners. The lawyers who own Atlantic Pacific should be in prison
