I seriously can't thank JMC enough! I rented through this company for 4 years, only moving due to a job out of state. The office employees are always pleasant to talk to and ready to answer any questions I have. (Cassandra, Stephanie, Savannah, you guys are seriously rockstars!) The maintenance guy (Jaren I believe is his name) is quick to fix anything I had problems with.

He always managed to efficiently and thoroughly take care of any issues I had and was respectful of my property and time. I've rented through so many different rental companies that only want to take your money or would be impossible to deal with. This has been my favorite company to rent through and would recommend them to anyone!

The staff at JM is so caring and understanding. They took time to listen to my needs and fit me for the right apartment. My new place was very clean and move in ready. I appreciate your team and all their hard work.

THEY try to trick first time renters and take advantage They try to charge you for smoking fees and claim you suppose to be 15 feet away but have a 1000 cigarette butts next to back doors the neighbors lie and call management over simple things the my hit you with 100 violations in try to charge you 500 dollars for smoking inside 25 for in front of front door but will charge you the 500 either way rather they can prove it or not it literally gotta take them to court for the unprofessionalism to get out of the lease because living there make you feel unsafe and uncomfortable they are creepy and money hungry they have "agents" that take pictures of tenants which I'm pretty sure is illegal it's a shady company they claim it's secured living but the doors don't even close all the way or lock sometimes

The staff hear is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They know how to help and if they do not they are eager to learn with you and solve any problems you might have. They communicate very well and will always find a way to make your day.

Units are good and neighbors are decent. Our rent increased by 10 dollars but that's okay Good communication towards tenants

JMC is unethical and they care most about money. They are currently refusing to reimburse me for utility bills that have been charged to me for five months, despite my lease being ended and new tenants living there and using the utilities that I am being charged for. They even lied and said they were paying for the utilities the whole time, even though the utility company can verify that isn't true, that I have been paying after my lease has been over for five months.

Really sad. I paid the bills because if I didn't, it would have hurt my credit score since it was still being put under my name and not the new tenants. I would never want to be a tenant with this company again. They own and lease many apartments and houses in Rochester, so watch out! Edit: as you can see, JMC responded to my review saying the utility company is responsible.

This is false information. I have contacted the utility company countless times, and each time they say it is your responsibility to reimburse me since I was paying on your behalf. You said, "unfortunately, we can not reimburse as we are paying a bill for that unit" you may be paying for one now, but you weren't for 5 months, and it is your duty to reimburse for the time that I was paying. I have email proof of this conversation. It is unprofessional to lie.

YOUR BETTER OFF RENTING FROM MATIK OR ANYWHERE ELSE. Had to take them to court for my security deposit! cleaned the whole apt even went over it twice. They then took my WHOLE deposit for cleaning fee's. IF YOUR EXPECTING to get ur deposit back good luck

JMC is a well-organized company. Their full services on real estate management makes living in Rochester much easier for landlord, tenant, buyer, and seller. Their staff understands the local real estate market very well. Their awesome staff, including Alyssa, SaLinda, Cassandra, and many others, provide valuable suggestions on house pricing and renovation. Everyone is very polite and responsive. Highly recommend it!

I have had a couple issues with appliances since I started renting from JMC in 2019. First was the washing machine and they delivered a brand new one. Monday the microwave went completely dead. Maintenance came out Tuesday morning with a new over the range microwave. Maintenance issues seem to be taken care of immediately. In the 2 years I have been renting from JMC, I have not had really to many issues with the company.

JMC is a trusted housing rental company. The team led by Director of Operation Alyssa is efficient and full of vitality. The housing resources provided by the company and their services are satisfying. Maintenance is also excellent. Friends who are looking for renting a house are worth trying to contact this company.
