I've been leasing with Liberty Management for about a year and some change and have been very pleased thus far especially with the property manager Patty. She really goes above and beyond and is the reason I am submitting a review. When it comes to resolving any of our maintenance issues, and we've had a handful already but they get assigned/scheduled within, literally minutes after the request is submitted thru the portal and i know its due to her attentiveness.

It's amazing how quickly she responds 24/7. I would highly recommend and refer. They even mailed us a Christmas card last year which is very thoughtful and much appreciated now a days . Thank you Liberty Management and thank you Patty for all you do!

After 10 years of having our rental property managed by Liberty we decided to sell it. Through Liberty, we used Mark Fee's Team. Mark and Maria Fee were truly a pleasure to work with throughout our home-buying process! They were extremely prompt at returning contact and very knowledgeable about the market and area. I only had two days to see homes in San Antonio and Mark cleared his schedule to ensure I could see everything I wanted. I ended up choosing a new build home and felt grateful to have an experienced realtors like Mark and Maria to help me arrange independent inspections and ensure our builder wasn't cutting corners.

On the blue tape walkthrough, Mark noticed flaws that were not obvious to me and even brought his own blue tape to be sure that each spot would be addressed. I wholeheartedly recommend Mark and Maria and know that if I ever purchase an investment property, I would definitely hire them again to help me choose the right property and manage it. Not only are they excellent realtors but they are very kind and friendly, and were always understanding of moments when I had to attend to my children during this process. They are the best!

So we moved from Hawaii and we would of like to have a better welcoming in person and a physical walk through of the rental house property to make sure we knew and how everything works. plus if we had any questions it would be answered right on the spot. When we first walked into the home, there was a strong wet dog odor that made our stomachs and nose cringe.

We had contacted liberty about the smell and after a few back and forth they finally agreed along with the property owners that the carpets be professionally cleaned. Later we found out that the carpets was professionally cleaned 3 times already and this was going to be the 4th. We had asked before if the smell don't go away what is the next step. immediately we were told that the owners will not replaced the carpets.

So knowing that, we felt that the only solution is in hopes that being professionally cleaned again would do the job. Well it didn't and the carpet guy who cleaned it already knew that it wasn't going to go away. His recommendation is to get it replaced if it continues. So we are living with a oder that we have to try to mask and spray almost every other day.

As for all the other minor issues on the house. the management team was quick to get it resolved. The only main issue we have is the smell from the carpets which the tenants prior to us had two big boxers.

Patty Gonzalez was honestly great. We did have some issues with Liberty and, we think, the owners a few times (I wish I could review the owners, they let us live with a broken AC for over 6 months) but Patty was always there to help us, update us, always available, and always very friendly and understanding. She always responded within 24 hours, she always had someone contacted about issues within 24 hours, we never had to wait on her.

She was our property manager for 3.5 years and we never had any complaints about her. If Liberty is managing your property, cross your fingers you get Patty because we loved having her as our property manager. She earned all 5 stars, while Liberty earned 4 and the owners earned 2. Thanks, Patty!

Dishonest Company! I Rented from Liberty for 6 years, absolutely awful move out experience. Paid early termination fee and hired professional cleaners as we were assured we'd be getting our full deposit back, stupid me I believed them. We moved out on the 17th of Sept, house in great shape. They didn't get it listed until at least October 1st and even then they never listed it on Zillow.

We had to post on our local neighborhood FB page which is most likely what rented it out because you couldn't find it anywhere. Our deposit was supposed to be in our hands within 30 days per the lease, we had to contact them several times and just now I received it on November 8th! When I looked I saw they cut the check on November 5th and subtracted $1k+ from the check for October rent, they finally rented the place on October 22nd. How is this type of dishonesty allowed, they need to pay.

I recently spoke with Maria from Liberty Management. I was told that they do not manage property in the area my home is located, which is San Antonio. She referred me to another company Real Property Management Alamo which has a review rating of 2 stars, smh. If your a property owner stay away from this company, you will get handed off to a company that more then likely gives a kickback to liberty. If your job is to rent out property, why would you not want to rent out property no matter what area it's in?

Liberty Management was my property management company in San Antonio for the last five years. I just sold my home in San Antonio and I will choose them again if I have any properties in their area of operation that need management. I was literally halfway around the world during the time they managed my property and they truly turned out to be a trusted agent through the years.

I had three tenants over the course of five years and Liberty did an excellent job vetting everytime. There were zero missed or late rent payments over a five year period. Also, over the past five years the longest single stretch of vacancy was less than a month. They send very detailed annual property condition reports and they are very responsive and communicative in addressing maintenance issues identified by the tenants. Bottom line, they're a very good company that can be trusted to professionally manage your property for the long haul.

Mark and Maria Fee were a great team helping us find a home to purchase. We were in Germany trying to buy a house in San Antonio, and they went over and beyond to help us during what I know was a very busy season for them (spring/summer of 2021). They video taped multiple home visits, and they called us at what had to be inconvenient hours to accommodate our time zone difference. They took a very stressful situation for us, and helped us get through it all the way through closing. We will use them again for our next home purchase.

After I posted a complaint about the lacking of response of it property manger and resod issue on Yelp, the supervisor Johnason responded to me in a professional way, and I accepted his apology and was cool with him and his team. The property manager also reached out to me and based on my impression, this team still listens to its customers and serious on issues relating to its business.

I recently moved into one of their rental homes. I instantly I received a $500 water bill and the following month my balance shot up to $700! Cynthia Bayoumy, the manager diligently reached out to a contact with in SAWS and after a month or so SAWS investigated and eliminated my entire balance! I know without her persistence SAWS would've never listened to a little person like me. Thank you Cynthia!

Patty has been a huge help with the issues we've been having with the home we're renting. We moved from out of state and have had the necessary communication to make the move smooth as it could be. The house itself is not great, but since we have moved in she has made sure to send contractors out to fix the issues we've been having. They've been very respectful and responsive with all concerns as well as ensuring they've been wearing masks when entering the home and keeping us up to date on the progress being made.

Liberty Management is full of shit. Don't rent from them, they are thieves and they will rip you off. I moved in June and they are changing me for July and August rent and I left the house a month ago. They don't fix shit. You be better off moving to the projects

I have had a rental home in San Antonio for several years now. I used two other property management companies. One went out of business and the other was very dishonest. I decide to try one more time and if that didn't work I was going to sell my home. I choose Liberty Property Management. I have had a very good, professional, experience with them and my manager is Vincent Moreno. Vincent has been very good to work with.

Any issues are passed on to me quickly and he also gives me options to choose from when a work order needs to be done. So far, in the 1/2 year I have worked with LPM it has been a very good experience and Vincent has been a very good property manager for me.

Glad to be done with this property management! Dealt with them for 2 years and am so glad to never deal with them again! They don't clean their houses before move-in and charge you for cleanliness upon move out! I'm a retired Marine, I don't leave my property dirty! Do not deal with this rip off of a property management company!

Hold onto your wallet! We have been in business with Liberty this past year, did not renew and for good reasons. When preparing the house for rent they sent out multiple vendors for minor issues one person could have repaired (toilet valve, dishwasher/drain issue) and then they still left some of the repairs incomplete. The water damage was not repaired under the sink and the new tenants were left with a mess.

I am now paying someone to repair the same issues I already paid Liberty for. They showed the home in the evening and when the tenants moved in the yard was a mess. Liberty removed a shed that was damaged and nothing was replaced over the dirt. Our neighbors installed a pool and management did not follow up on the fence and sod repair. Eventually, we had to stop any repairs without our permission. Liberty allows any repair under $300 without owner consent.

We started seeing multiple charges for minor repairs costing $280-$290. After a while it all adds up and they're all authorized bc they're under $300. They neglected to paint the front door which needed to be painted while we paid to have the entire deck painted in the back. While switching Management Companies the water heater went out.

I said, do not send someone out we will handle it. Despite this, they sent someone out and charged me $89 for checking the unit. He, the repair guy, did absolutely nothing except inform Liberty the water heater needed to be replaced for $1300 and we needed an AC guy out bc the AC also needed to be replaced. After sending out our new property managers repairman, free of charge, to evaluate the unit, CPS eventually had to come cut a lock off the energy savings unit and the water began to work.

We almost unnecessarily paid for a new water heater and AC unit at the time of their repair companies assessment. Phew! Also, THEY CHARGE THEIR TENANTS $8 PER PAYMENT! How much money does that add up to? A LOT! And then for renewals, they charge both the TENANT and the OWNER! Wow! Amazing company! WE ARE SO thankful for a referral from a dear friend for Mary Ellis at E M Ellis Realty.

They do not charge for sending someone out to give estimates on issues in your home. They do not charge for lease renewals and do not charge for taking the tenants monthly rent. Oh, I hope this finds someone, like me, who was looking for a new company and found LIberty on google. Do not be fooled by their reviews and ratings. This is not our first rodeo, as we own other properties and have never been so taken advantage of. I wouldn't recommend this company at all. I am so disappointed that they can take such advantage of military owners who live out of state.

I had a very poor experience with this property management, we rented a duplex from them, we listed all damages with photos of prior damages to apartment. We gave 1200 deposit. When our lease up we decided not to renew because Repair work would take 4 to 6 weeks to repair! When ac broke, took then 45 days to repair! That's way too long in San Antonio summer.

So we did not renew lease. When we moved out we got 356 dollars back from our deposit, mind you carpets were cleaned by people they recommended and we still got charged for prior damages for prior tenants. Stay away from these crooks!

We are current residents as of 4/21/17. So far they have been responsive to any work orders that have needed attention. Easy enough to pay rent, submit work orders, etc. Their application process was pretty straight forward and clear monkeyed in a quick and reasonable time frame. I was frustrated at move in because the home was not clean to my standards and I had to hire cleaners.
