We have had experience with two different units in Cinnamon Beach. May Management has allowed unit owners to replace carpet with hard surface flooring and use sub-standard underlayment. Consequently the noise transmitted through the floors has gotten much worse. They have not followed through with the requirement of soft pads under furniture legs and that has made the noise problem even worse for units below.
For example, chairs being moved, footsteps and music can easily be heard. We would be hesitant to buy a unit unless it was on the top floor. By not upholding the rules, May Management has allowed the quality of life at Cinnamon Beach to decline.
